#Reply:
1. To protect the product from rusting, we add oil and a black finish on it. Due to the craft of black finish(not permanent fixed) and the liquidity of oil. The item can get oil and a little scratch on black finish experiencing a violent shipment. Please note there is no necessity to use stainless steel for a high cost.
2. This is an adjustable oil filter removal tool designed for removing your oil filter. If you need to use it for installation, please be very careful.
3. Bent angle head is our design to make it can be used in some tight space.

Oil in bag does not mean used!
I’ve noticed some reviewers mistaking the small amounts of oil in the bag as a sign that the tool is used. That is not the case. The oil is so the manufacturer can make a ton all at once and have them sitting in a warehouse or container for long periods of time without rusting! Unless the tool has actual scratch marks on the teeth or cuts to the rubber, the tool is new.
That said, there is one minor downside to the tool, the bolt holding the two sides together arrived a little loose, and you can’t tighten it much more without making the too hard to use. Instead just put a drop of Loctite or similar on that bolt’s threading and then you have a perfect and dirt cheap oil filter remover. Still 5 stars even with the small defect just because it’s the cheapest wrench at time of review and if you don’t know how to tighten the small bolt you probably should not be doing your own oil changes…

I’ve used these pliers multiple times on several different cars and have had success in this variety of use cases. They are very simple to use and I appreciate that they can fit into a variety of different oil filter locations. The pliers have good grip on the filters, but I would be cautious in using them on any filter that you plan to reuse, seeing as the plier prongs are fully metal and will damage filters in the ordinary course of use unless you are very careful. If you plan to use pliers for filters that you will reuse or if you plan to use pliers to tighten oil filters, I would likely recommend seeking out pliers that have rubber points of contact. Seeing as I solely use these pliers to loosen and remove oil filters, they work great for me. Overall, I appreciate these pliers and find them to be of a good quality, but be sure they meet your use case.

Excellent choice for pool unions
Excellent pliers. I use mine on the unions on my pool connectors. They grab easy, non slip and very durable. Easy to adjust. I will keep inside so they will not rust. Regular large pliers would not grip easily and always slipped, these grab very easily and hold since they are curved. Very happy.

Let’s take a closer look.To the Point or TL;DRMetal, not some thin, plastic reinforced metal, but Solid, heavy metal. They are just like my channel locks only with wider mouth. Amazing quality, Smooth Action, Rubber coated handles. Works on oil filters, and fantastic on those large plastic collars used on Pool Filter Pumps. Way cheaper than local stores.The Good StuffMetal. I like metal and could vomit if I got another plastic something or other that is suppose to hold load, but snaps like old dried pretzels. This is nice, solid, heavy metal with great channel lock action. They even sent it pre-oiled to prevent rust.This works great on those big, plastic collars that attach your pool pump valve to your filter. Easy to adjust, grips well, and doesn’t destroy the collar from slipping. This was a great find. Funciona bien, tiene 3 posiciones para filtros más grandes, lo he usado en la pequeña y sin problemas. Tiene un ligero ángulo para facilitar su uso.El mango está recubierto de goma y se limpia bastante bien con un trapo para quitar el aceite. Lo recomiendo.

Esta excelente te facilita mucho aflojar y apretar el filtro, aunque por lo forma que tiene, chequen que haya espacio en dónde esta el motor puesto que en el mío fue difícil ya que el filtro quedaba en un lugar donde esta herramienta era difícil hacerla girar.
