This is better kit that others I have tried. It got the job done easily.
I needed to pull the pulley from my 1996 F150 power steering motor so that I could install a new one. The kit I got initially, from another seller, was a bit confusing to use, especially with installing a new pulley. This kit is just a better kit. The puller was strong and solid and did the job, once I got enough clearance from the fan shroud. I used the fatter bolt for installing the pulley because it mounted solidly and deeply into the motor shaft, so it pulled that thing right on.

You can’t beat the price
The set worked fine doesn’t appear to be the most durable. But for the price, you can’t beat it

Junk
Delivered and broke in 15 minutes. Using a 14mm wrench, the bolt sheared instantly. I didn’t even get to apply much pressure to the pulley.

Headed to the mountains to work on things that will never see a highway
Purpose for Product: Servicing hydraulic equipment in remote mountain locations routinely requires removing allkinds of pulleys that never had a pulley puller made for it and we have to adapt something.Product Inspection: Nice red plastic case containing all the items advertised. Tools appear adequately manufacturedwith no obvious defects.Summary: Finding an empty bin on the truck for this little kit and someday it will make the day a success.

2000 buick century power steering job went smooth thanks to this kit
Worked out of the box flawlesslyFirst thing I noticed with this puller set is how solid the pieces feel. The carbon steel construction has some serious heft and the black manganese phosphate coating gives it a professional, durable vibe. None of the parts feel flimsy or like they’ll bend under pressure, which is exactly what you want when you’re messing with a stubborn power steering pulleyUsing it on my 2000 Buick Century V6 was surprisingly smooth. The puller jaws lined up perfectly with the pulley and everything threaded together without fighting me. Once I lubed the threads like the instructions suggested, the pulley came off cleanly without me having to wrestle with it or worry about slipping and scratching anything. The installer tool worked just as well putting it back on, which made the whole job feel less like a fight and more like actual work I could be proud ofThe kit is thoughtful too. Every piece has a place in the case and the latches hold everything snug so I didn’t have to dig around for the right bolt mid-job. The variety of sizes and collars means it can handle multiple pulleys across Ford, GM, and Chrysler vehicles, which is handy if you work on more than one type of car. Having the right tool for the job really makes the differenceFor twenty bucks this set feels like a steal. Smooth operation, solid construction, and organized storage make it worth it for anyone who wants to remove and reinstall power steering pulleys without risking damage. On the Buick it worked like a charm, and I wouldn’t hesitate to grab this again for future projects
