Great for remodeling install of outlet/switch boxes. Locate stud. Use multi tool , boom done. Works well on wood, drywall. Dulls quickly on plaster.

Where was this tool all of my life?
The size of this slot cutter is perfect! It fits a one gang like you wouldn’t believe. Definitely sharp enough to cut through normal drywall. It definitely generates a lot of dust and is exceptionally noisy. At high speeds it rattles a lot. However you can’t go wrong with this tool to make your life easier.
