Very easy to connect and simple to use
This is a very simple easy to use OBD2 scanner that helps in perform one way and two way communication. When you would insert this scanner into the port of your car, it would let you download the respective software for your vehicle model. Once you have downloaded the respective software you can scan your car for all possible errors and issues. I like the fact that you only download the software you need, instead of all makes and models making it too heavy. You can also use it to remove errors and codes. The ease of connection and quality of interface and usage make it a great value for money scanner. Overall very happy with the quality and performance. I used it on my 2017 Toyota Sienna and it worked like a charm to know issue coming from tire speed sensor.

Awesome scan tool that does everything
It’s hard to believe something this small can do everything it can, especially for under $200..Easy to use and can check everything I would want, it’s nice being able to test sensors individually.Feels very solid and is easy to set up.I have had good luck with Topdon tools in the past and it’s the first brand I look for whenever I need something to work on my car.

Finally a bi-directional scanner that is affordable for a diy guy
I am not officially a mechanic but i have probably worked on cars as much as most. Doing this since i was a kid and cars have really become difficult to repair in some aspects. Computer related or emissions related issues have been trial and error using my standard Autel scanner. Saving for their Maxicom that i often borrow from a friend but found this Topdon bidirectional scan tool at half the price and so far it has performed as well if not better than the Maxicom. Basically a standard scanner can only get information from the car’s ECU but with this and other bidirectional scanners costing up to 2k i can feed info to the ECU. This saves me a ton of time and reduces the chances of me breaking something expensive. I can activate various parts such as the radiator fan, fuel pump, trigger sensors and even unlock the doors or windows without getting out of the car. You would be surprised how difficult this can be on some makes and models. That in itself is worth the extra hundred bucks but this does even more. More makes and models, more live data streams, more resets and I have not dropped Bluetooth once using it every day since it arrived. It is rugged and with its small size i can keep it in a side pocket of my main bag. I would not mind if it was bigger and had a nice screen but not worth putting out another two hundred dollars, and that’s for 3rd tier scanners. Yes there is a subscription available but unless you are really getting deep into these available functions there is really no need. Just like the other scanners i own, I have never paid any extra costs for that. Its mainly for updates for oddball things and not needed or worth the cost imo. I do think you get the first year free so you can decide for yourself if you wanna continue it. This scan tool from Topdon does every thing you would need or anything a typical shop mechanic will do. I have been happy with all of the Topdon tools I have purchased here. Zero issues. Fantastic tool and highly recommended for part time or full time vehicle repair.

Unbeatable for price
As someone who uses mostly OEM scan tools only, This little tool has been incredible so far!Setup and getting started was very fast and easy. Full vehicle scans are quick and accurate. I’ve used in a few scenarios where the OEM tool failed to perform a task or didn’t have the capability that the Topscan has. Sending and sharing diagnostic scan reports is a breeze! I would 10/10 recommend this if you need an additional run and gun type scan tool in your pocket.

Super easy to use and convenient to keep in your rig.I run a small shop and this one can do tons of things I didnt expect it to for the price..Had issues programming or calibrating sensors with other ones or even spendy name brand scanners.Got it done with this one.Worth thr money in my book already

Hidden membership fee to unlock all described function
I specifically looked for a bidirectional scan tool but was disappointed to find out it’s only accessible if you pay for the $99 a year membership which wasn’t stated anywhere in the product description. Overall works like any typical obd scanner ranging from $20-100 price but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised because some of the bigger pro tool manufacturers charge $1000 plus for their bidirectional scan tools.

Professional level OBD2 Scanner
I’m a fleet mechanic I do cover several locations I don’t have carry the big scanner with me. This OBD2 Scanner Bluetooth dose just about everything extremely easy to use and connects quickly to my phone via Bluetooth. The app interface is clean, intuitive, and provides accurate trouble codes and live data in real time. I’ve used it on multiple vehicles and the diagnostics have been spot-on every time, including clearing engine lights without any issues. The build quality feels solid and the scanner stays connected reliably while driving or idling. For the price, this is an excellent diagnostic tool for DIYers and anyone who wants professional-level insight without paying shop fees.

Great tool to have at a great price!
This gives you dealership levels of code reading and clearing. It was very easy to use and it was able to find the codes and clear them that no other scanner has been able to do for me! It diagnosed my speedometer and got it working again. I highly recommend!
