Great scanner – definitly beats those blue/other brands bluetooth dongle
This is a proper scanner – with functions of all major brands and models, a proper connection, bluetooth capability as well. It’s much more detailed and does not require you have a cell phone and app to operate.I used it to check codes and do throttle relearn for my mazda 6, works like a charm. Now it’s back on road. Worth every penny.

My first professional OBD2 scanner
I own more than 5 OBD2 scanners, the first one that came with Dataframe freeze option was not cheap in early days, and recent ones are tiny dongles that connects to smart phones — these are amazing for the price around $5-20. However eventually I decide to invest a professional scanner and it was wow to me.The unit requires you to connect to WiFi and register to start using it (good or bad). I was able to update the system and update the database (picture 1-3). I did try a random feature that was not working for my vehicle and the feedback option is very convenient — i will attach a log so you do not need to spend too much time describe the issues.The real help was the electric parking brake service. Previously I had to hook up a 12V battery to retract the rear parking brake to replace the brake pads: it worked on one side and did not work on the other side so I had to do extra work to dis-engage it mechanically. With this professional tool, the function is there, I could use it retract it for service and engage it later (although I tried this function, it’s not time for me to replace brake pad yet). Next thing I want to try is the Battery Control Module because I was testing a new idea on using LiFePO4-battery as the aux battery and using the external battery maintainers to maintain both the main battery and the aux. I did experience some problem and I am going to test the BCM and CEM battery reset function (need to do more studies before I go ahead).So far, this unit is amazing and I hope the support will be great as well. I do expect a lot out of this real toy!

Das TOPDON ArtiDiag600 ist bei mir seit einer Woche im Einsatz. Im Lieferumfang natürlich das OBD-Kabel, ein USB-C-Ladekabel und eine Aufbewahrungstasche. Erster Eindruck: Gute Handheld-Größe, sehr sauber verarbeitet, gestochen scharfes Touchpanel, 100% kalibriert und nahezu verzögerungsfrei reagierend.Die Inbetriebnahme: Einschalten und booten lassen (Dauer ca. 15s). Mit WLAN verbinden. Auf der Website ein Konto anlegen und einmalig damit am Gerät anmelden.Nach kurzer Zeit werden alle verfügbaren Fahrzeugupdates angeboten (über 70), installieren sollte man nur die benötigten. Das geht rasch und ohne Hindernisse.Der Einsatz:1. Suzuki, EZ 2025…VIN und Marke/Typ automatisch erkannt, alle (!) Steuergeräte erkannt. Auto Scan auf DTCs geht richtig zügig. Sehr übersichtliche Darstellung. DTC löschen, Datenliste checken, Parameter grafisch darstellen (6 Stk.maximal), Fehler löschen, Berichte speichern und versenden – das läuft alles wie selbstverständlich.2. Smart electric drive, EZ 2012…VIN erkannt, Marke und Antriebsart manuell eingegeben – Fahrzeugkonfiguration automatisch aus ECU des Fahrzeugs ausgelesen. Rest wie beim Suzuki…alle ECUs gescannt, alle HV-Fehler sauber aufgelistet und nach Reparatur gelöscht.Fazit: Top-Gerät, mit leichten Abzügen bei der Übersetzung einzelner Menüpunkte.Je nach Fahrzeug können Sonderfunktionen ausgeführt werden wie Öl-/Servicereset, EPB, DK anlernen, TPMS etc.
