good and bad.. check review
When i first got mine, I asked if they sold replacement batteries.. That was a month ago.. At that time, they said no, they did not.. They only sell batteries with the tools.. Someone posted that they do have batteries for sale now, and they do.. They are $50 each.. Comparable in price to OEM dewalt batteries, so not too bad. But if you look, as of right now, if you do order a battery, it can take up to 3 weeks to get them, which tells me that they are either coming from over seas, or it is a product that they are going to be selling, but they just have not been put in stock yet, and you will have to wait until the stuff is in stock to get it. Something to consider, but also why you see conflicting info about spare batteries for it.They say 550 ft lbs of tightening torque.. I highly doubt that you will be getting that much.. Upon testing, with the low setting, I tightened it down until it stopped spinning, and then let it crank for about 1/2 second after that.. Then I held the button down and did a 1/2 to 1 second crank down after that, just like what I did with an air impact when working in a garage.. I found that it constantly gave a torque of between 82 and 90 ft lbs each time.. Which is about where I want it for my tires.. When I held it down for a length of time, I got about 141 ft lbs of torque.. That was all on the low setting..When I tested it on the high setting, doing the crank until it stopped freely spinning, and then 1/2 to 1 second torque after that, I got 130 ft lbs.. So my guess would be, if I had held it down on high for an extended length of time, I would probably get 200 to 250 ft lbs to total torque.. About half of what they advertise.. To be fair, i did not try this because I did not want to damage my rims, nor break any lug nuts on my car.. Still, this is plenty for any basic work that most people will be doing.. So I am not complaining..When i saw that it came with shorter impact sockets, I was kind of worried that they would not fit good on lug nuts with the acorn design.. I was wrong.. As you can see in the one picture, I have 2 of that style sitting there, one with the socket on one of them, and a free one on the side.. As you can see, they go down plenty deep to grip the lug nut, which is good. The charger charges at 2.4 amps, so it will take approximately 2 hours to fully charge a fully discharged battery.. This is where a good spare comes into account..I did enough testing to change at least 2 tires on my car, and found that the battery was still reading a full charge on the battery meter, so it will last a good amount of time.. It does not drain fast..The tool feels very well made and durable.. But not light.. Somewhere between light and heavy when comparing it to other cordless impacts that I have used in the past..Price I would say is dependent on what you want to compare it to.. Cheaper than Milwaukee or dewalt, but about $50 more than craftsman or rigid, and double the price of off name brand ones.. all of comparable torque ratings and battery sizes..Final thoughts.. It is a very well made impact from what I have seen so far.. It will work for most peoples needs.. Not as strong as advertised, but still plenty strong enough.. Battery price is decent for a good battery of this size ($50 for 4ah). The impact feels like it would hold up good under professional use.. I like it much better than most of the off name brand ones that I have gotten, and even better than some name brand ones (greenworks for example).. Would I recommend it.. Now that I found that you can get replacement batteries, yes.. Before that, no because 1 battery is just not enough.. as for quality, I have no complaints..

Feels solid and I think it should work well
This feels like it is built well, I noticed the heft when picking it up. I also noticed that it kicked pretty well in my hand when pulling the trigger. I have a bunch of trucks in my work fleet so I decided to try it out. The provided sockets feel pretty solid too. This didn’t have a problem with my vans, Ford Transits. I hit my 2023 F150 after that and this wouldn’t budge the jugs. I figured maybe someone got frisky with the impact at the dealership so I tried it on my 2019 Expedition, I know those are torqued correctly and it wouldn’t budge those either. I made sure the battery was fully charged and the speed level was all the way up but it was a no go. Like other also said no other batteries look to be available so if you use this you’ll have some down time waiting for the battery to charge. I think it could be good, just needs a bit more refinement.EDIT: Customer service was very quick to reach out and help me. The replacement unit is really solid and I was able to get the lugs off my F150 no problem. I really appreciate them making everything right. I will buy another as a gift for my friend that owns a shop, he used mine and really enjoyed it.

Impressive name brand performance for a lower price
This impact gun impressed me! With a hobby of restoring cars, I don’t like lugging cords around that trip the dogs and scratch the paint on the cars. My other brand name impact gun was not strong enough to reliably tighten lug nuts without double checking them with the torque wrench. This was underscored by a rear wheel coming off and doing 15k in damage to a custom 67 Camaro. If I had used this gun, it would have never happened. ( if I had followed through and double checked with tourque wrench it would not have happened either 😀) It is 1/2 drive and comes with everything you need. It even has a belt clip if you have a really sturdy belt.I was able to find battery replacement here on Amazon. Not sure why others are saying there is no option to order a replacement battery. Here is the link https://a.co/d/efmYl9uI do recommend this tool and wish I had it sooner – it would have saved me a lot of money!

Impressive
I keep this in my car to be used in place of a tire iron, or any time you find yourself needing an impact. It deserves better however since it performs really well and is more powerful than some other 1/2 inch impacts of mine. It could easily be a daily driver. It’s just heavy enough and I have not been able to yet fully deplete the battery..

The question is the battery…
Look, this is a powerful, useful, well-made brushless cordless impact wrench. You’re getting more torque from this thing than you get with a DeWalt cordless impact wrench that costs twenty-five percent more than this wrench even as a bare tool, and with this you get 4Ah battery and charger. This is a deal as well as capable tool. So what’s not to like about this deal? Two things:First, the hassle of claiming your warranty on a tool where finding the manufacturer may be difficult. I seldom need my tool warranties. Still, this is a valid consideration. I could not find the Dovaman site for this tool. I did, however, find a Dovaman site for several types of corded tools, so perhaps there’s hope for warranty through that site.Second, I can’t find any listing for Dovaman batteries. This is probably the biggest consideration. You can get a comparable wrench from Harbor Freight for a bit less money. I’d go with a wrench from a seller where you can obtain replacement batteries. This is no slight on this capable tool, but without information on replacement batteries, I hesitate to buy a tool.So why do I have this tool? Because I got it free as an Amazon Vine reviewer. It’s a great tool. I use impact wrenches abvout once a year, so this is all I need–and I got it for free. I love the tool. It’s only the battery situation that causes me to second guess a full-price purchase of this tool
