Handy gadget!
Bought this really cool gadget to clean up the ends of bolts if I have to knock them out with a hammer due to rust. The other application is when installing brake chambers on trucks and trailers, you have to cut the threaded rod to size for the application. This handy tool cleans up the end and taper it so you can screw the clevis right on by hand.

Lean to one side first
So far no issues. Definitely need to lean to one side starting off. It’ll jump if square up on bolt.

Everyone should have this in their tool collection.
Save your fingers and frustrations. I never need to use the sander or my deadly grinder to mend the threads on bolts I cut down to size. The reaming function works on trimming burrs from small pipe as well. Thorvald seems durable and well made. And the quick connection makes it easy to use.

Thorvlad Chamfer and Deburrer ,,, when used properly works great. Use oil and med speeds
This is not meant for repeat commercial usage. Use oil, repeatedly * as would with any machining of metal * slight pressure, med speed or less on drill. I used this this morning on 10MM X 30 Stainless bolts. Worked fine. I used 3 in one sewing machine oil. Any oil will work ( not sure about corn or olive ) do not drench it, just a few drops. Will keep cutting blades sharp and last longer. Before cutting, run two of correct size bolts onto bolts you intend to cut. Twist them together. Clamp vice on those bolts. Go slow and steady, do not over heat cutting blades. Wait for bolt to cool Remove the bolts they will straighten the threads. Run em over the end of bolt a few time. Great price from Thorvlad. if can drill hole in metal with drill. You can use this . When done chamfered, clean bits of cut metal from the threads with wd-40 and paper towel. Otherwise bolts will bind as twisted. Use same wd-40 or penetrating oil to clean the Cutting device. ALWAYS USE PROPER PERSONAL BODY PROTECTIONS ( SAFETY GLASSES, DUST MASK, ETC.). VERY GOOD INSTRUCTIONS COME WITH CHAMFER DEBURRER. GREAT PRODUCT ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE.
