Great product, it works well for a detection of an invisible leak for a inlet air line from a turbo system of a Volvo C30, due to a cracked hose, esay to use and test.

Smoke Machine
I haven’t Used it yet My problem with the EVAP Leak was an easy fix I changed the Cap and still had a Problem with the light coming on then I checked the surface of the gas tank opening and cleaned it of with WD40 and Problem Solved.Some day i will get achance to use this product and i will follow up with the Results. Well guess what my check engine came back on so now i was able to use this THIKPO smoke Machine i hooked it up to one of the vacum hoses turned it on and in about 30 second looking under the car and there is was a big cloud of smoke coming from the Vapor Canister/ Charcoal/ Carbin Filter area now i can jack the car up and take the necessary steps to remove and replace this Vapor Canister it is in a tight place above the gas tank and after removing and Lowering a few parts of the frame and there it is. I will take a Video of the THIKPO Smoke Machine workig to find the leak.

Updated review.
I checked this unit out when I first received it. Blew smoke for a couple of minutes, then shut it down just to ensure it worked. Removed all the mineral oil from the tank so it was not just sitting there. The 2nd time I used it was for about 10 minutes. Worked fine for smoke, but would not build any pressure. I disconnected lines and tried again, but nothing. Also could not tell where the smoke was going. I was doing an evap line. I could see the whole Evap line up to where I disconnected it. ( yes I plugged the end) But NO smoke anywhere.I did another check by plugging both ends and placing a hand vacuum pump on one end and a vacuum/pressure gauge on the other end. Now I can get it under vacuum (25 in hg) and it did NOT leak down after I stopped pumping.🤔I was going to try the smoke machine again, got it all connected, threw the switch and poof! No more smoke. Machine will run, just No smoke. I did notice when you turn the smoke switch on, it lights up for a second, then switches off. Though maybe it was a thermal switch, but even the next day it did the same thing. No smoke, so it’s a bust!I really wanted to like this. It has a pressure gage, and a flow meter. And it’s a nice sized box too. But if it doesn’t work, not good for much!Update 06/10/2025 seller contacted me about the problem with the machine. I had a choice of a new machine or a refund. I choose the refund. I changed my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. The seller was willing to address the problem, so they get credit for that.

Works well, has a built in compressor, and some adjustability on the pressure.
Worked well right out of the box! Well thought out construction and features such as the port on the side to empty the oil and the included funnel to fill it.I upgraded mine to let me use it in a house plugged into an outlet by getting a 12 Volt Power supply with a computer power cord.I used this one rated at 5amp/60Watts–>https://a.co/d/b8XHVlwComputer power cord–>https://a.co/d/89vFV9E(I connected the red to the black)The pictures I included are the power supply modified with the addition of the AC power cord, On the AC side you do not use ground wire and then test the other two so you have the DC polarity correct to power the unit. If you connect it with the wrong polarity it won’t work so you have 50 50 to guess but it is reb to black and black to white.I used crimp connectors as opposed to soldering but I could have gone with solder and a Western Union splice and then I used shrink tubing to finish it all out.For a “fast” test, like running it for 5 minutes and emitting about 2-3 volumetric gallons of smoke it used very little oil, as in I started with 15-20 ml of oil and it looked like I got 99% of it back. It was a little darker coming out of the machine after use but looked good to use again if I chose to do so.

I ordered this smoke machine to find an exhaust leak on my pickup. So far it’s working very well and I’ve not had any issues with it. It also came with a nice variety of accessories, some of which I will use and some of which I may not, but they’ll be nice to have in case I ever need them. I didn’t really like the fact that I was going to have to hook it up to the battery and then connect the smoke generator to the tailpipe because the lines weren’t long enough. They say you have to run this off of a 12 Volt car battery. However, I have a portal battery pack I put together using a 12v 12ah sealed lead acid battery. This has worked well for me and I have ran it on and off for about 30 minuets and not had any issues. Another thing that I like about it is the smoke generator and all this accessories fit very neatly into a 5 gallon bucket. This way I can put a lid on the bucket and keep it protected until my next use.
