Fantastic STEM kit!
Solar car building set was both fun and educational. The instructions were easy to follow, and it kept my child engaged. Seeing the car run on solar power was exciting and rewarding. A great hands-on project and an excellent gift for kids ages 8–14 who love to build and learn. Highly recommend!

Fun and Educational STEM Project for Kids – Perfect for Hands-On Learning!
I purchased this STEM kit as part of a homeschool project for my 4th grader, and it was a big hit! We decided to build the solar-powered car, and it was a fantastic learning experience. The instructions were clear, and assembly was straightforward, though we did need a small hammer to fit some pieces together snugly.Once built, we had so much fun testing it under different conditions: sunny vs. cloudy weather, on an incline, and even with a little extra weight on it. It was fascinating to see how the car responded to each scenario, and it sparked great conversations about solar energy and mechanics. My daughter really enjoyed the hands-on process of building and experimenting. The kit is well-designed, sturdy, and perfect for engaging kids in STEM concepts in a fun and interactive way. Highly recommend for homeschoolers or anyone looking for a creative project!

Fun, functional and a wonderful opportunity for quality time with your kids
My son loves this, we sit together and build a new kit each week. I know it says for kids 8+, but this is excellent for younger kids too! The pieces can be a little tricky for small hands to connect together, but it’s good tactile learning and an opportunity for them to have the joy and pride of building a working machine themselves. The instructions are very well done, we go through them together and he takes the lead in finding what changes in each picture, what part is involved, and where it needs to go to make progress. Watching his confidence grow in both building with his hands and also communicating what he understands and what he thinks should be done next is very rewarding. The whole kit is a fantastic price, after a couple months the kits have held up great with nothing breaking despite regular play and work exactly as they should and the first set of batteries are still lasting. I especially love the airplane, we have it on a window in the sunshine and any time of the day it’s just happily spinning the propeller.

Easy to construct! Wood material is a bit fragile.
I used these today with my summer camps. The children REALLY enjoyed making these, especially since it was 100 degrees and there were fans involved. I will add that you must be very careful in constructing as the wood breaks easily, but we were able to construct 3 kits in entirety by children ages 4-10 years old, with a bit of guidance from an adult guide.

Very nice kits and great for a child’s education.
My grandkids and I had a great time assembling these kits. Overall, everything was good. There were some pieces where the thin wooden parts were a bit fragile and broke because enough care was not made during assembly. These pieces were noted in the instructions. Extra spare pieces were provided so that was a nice touch. The listing said, “for Boys.” I have to tell you my granddaughter was thrilled to have her own kit.

Perfect For My 8 Year Old
We’re tried a couple robot kits but this kit is the best for my 8 year old son. The designs are simple enough for him to build himself but they’re great for teaching about circuits and electricity. I love how there’s battery powered and solar powered options.

It is a good present for young curious minds. Except it is smaller than I thought.
