Solid kit that will get DIY jobs completed no questions asked
I got the newer version of the kit, so far no issues. The drill is light, powerful, quality is good and its brushless. Which means it will last much longer than non-brushless motors.The impact drive is powerul as well, both are well balanced, and according to reviews, we should be able to do a lot of work with these. They are a great purchase for the money.

My first tool set I’m in remodeling they’re okay obviously not the best but for the price they’re great I use them everyday only issue is with the breaks on the drill and circular saw and the impact is slower than most to sink a 3 inch screw BUT for the price you really can’t beat it 5 stars from me!

I bought the “SKIL 20V 2-Tool Combo Kit: 20V Cordless Drill Driver and Impact Driver Kit” in April 2024. It’s been a great upgrade to my tool room. The battery life is great. It’s powerful and easy to use. The light really shows where I’m working. Both of these drivers are lasting well with no signs of problems.

The worse purchase I ever made…
It took me so long to apply this review, but I realized I should do it. I bought this tool with high expectations as I consider Skil a good brand, but not anymore. Since the beginning battery was leaking. At the begining I thought was some water that splash around, I cleaned and I have realized the problem continue. I did not used much, the regular drill almost new, I have used just 3 times, and know non of those can be used as the battery is total damage. You can see pictures. I should try with the other brands I had before and still working…

Amazing drills
I’m just a home mechanic type worker. I really don’t need anything w/ this kind of power but when I need it, boy do I love it!! I’ve bought everything but the Skil 1/2 impact as I have an air impact but I still want it. The stuff is just super nice. I’ve used professional tools and it feels professional.The only downside is the cost of the batteries are more than some of the tools!! C’mon Skil, or I’m just gonna buy 3rd party!

Compre dos desde producto, el destornillador de impacto es excelente tiene muy buena fuerza, despues de dos años de uso la bateria sigue retiendo carga, ahora mismo compre el segundo kit y la fuerza es la misma entre la bateria que tiene dos años y la nueva.El taladro le falta un poco de potencia comparado con uno conectado a la energia electrica, por ejemplo para perforar concreto no es la mejor opcion, pero para madera, block, plasticos o alumnio es excelente, tambien tomen en cuenta en que es taladro no rotomartillo.

The tools them selves are great, But good luck finding batteries for the in Ont. If you phone skil they dont have any idea where you buy a battery for the 20 volt power core line of tools. if you order from the US the shipping is more then cost of the tools and battery together so buyer beware.To bad, the tools are great just like the good ole days

Battery exploded in the package and I would like a new battery for these drills. I tried to contact Amazon and they want me to return it. Pretty sure I shouldn’t mail it with acid leaking everywhere. Update I contacted customer service at Skil and they were fantastic! Shipping me out a new battery in 7-10 days. Wonderful to deal with! I’m impressed!
