Incredible Value for Light Professional Work.
First off, I am a professional cabinet maker/installer + furniture maker. People will complain about the power/torque but in reality, this product isn’t being sold as a heavy or even medium construction tool. That also doesn’t mean its a DIY only – it means its not for framing out a house or building the structure of a deck – but for things like cabinet + furniture construction + installation its the bees knees!This is an absolutely awesome tool AND it has a 5 year warranty! Its super easy to use, has great ergonomics, really saves time by not having to switch drills/drivers and reach for screws (there is a magnet on top that holds a few screws). I used it with the 12v and 20v and both are impressive. The torque in gear 2 isn’t much, but its great for drilling. As I swivel the head to the driving bit, I also flip the gear down to 1 (I haven’t messed much with the torque settings) in 1 motion, then grab a screw off the magnet and drive it home. Gear 1 torque is no joke, it will drive a screw straight through a composite material like particle board/mdf. The offset in height between the bit and the top of the drill is less than any other drill/driver/impact I’ve used which makes hiding screws that much easier.I also love the plastic that Skil uses, it feels more tactile? Like a subtle stubble with matte finish that looks and feels NICE and dense.Every one on the job sight is using Milwaukee or Dewalt and here I am with my $80 Skil zipping through installs.I absolutely love Skil at this point and am looking to add more Skil to my tool box.

What a great product it’s not a impact driver, but the convenience of having the drillbit right there all the time ready to go is a game changer as far as speed and the price is really cheap so I love it. I’ll definitely buy it again and I would even pay more money for it.

Best drill ever!
This is a great time saver. I love being able to drill pilot holes then swap to be able to the screwdriver function. It is easy to swap bits if needed. This is my go to drill over my corded drill and my cordless. The battery lasts much longer than my other major brand cordless. The only drawback is the bits included are very lightweight and not durable. One broke the first day. Since we have other bits, this was not an issue for me. Despite this, I feel the drill was a great investment.

I like the drill. The engineering design by skil is definitely unique and innovative. BUT, on this site, so far Ive returned one and received another in its place. both were clearly used and sold as new. The second one didn’t even have the right battery size. Suggest purchasing of the drill elsewhere.
