Best Quality and Functionality – Worth the Higher Price
I own six of these “long” versions and have used them for years in my home as well as outdoors. They work great and are of superior quality and functionality than other brands. I have found these shortened versions to be very useful when I am seated in a chair or sofa. Yes, as others have mentioned here, they are more expensive than the other brands, however, they are worth the extra cost.

Shorter length is very handy for most normal household needs. Comfortable lever, tactile jaws.
I got these to help with hip replacement surgery.We already had a couple of the 3ft grabbers, but unless I’m reaching for something on a top shelf, I found these shorter ones are actually easier to maneuver.The grippers are nice and tactile for picking up even small items, yet they open wide enough to manage most normal household items.The lever is very comfortable and easy to manipulate and I imagine would be comfortable if someone has any issues with hand strength.I didn’t really find the need to rotate the jaws, but it’s nice that’s possible and very easily done by just pulling the jaw out and twisting it to the other position.I’ve only used these for household purposes and haven’t needed to grab anything of substantial weight so I can’t speak to durability under those conditions. For reaching for clothing, picking up/putting down pet food bowls, or retrieving small items that I’ve dropped – – – these are fantastic.2 of these for this price is also great. I have one downstairs in our kitchen/family room area and I can leave the other one upstairs in our bedroom/bath area.A great help with my current condition, but I also imagine these will continue to be helpful down the road as well.

Quality and ease of use
RMS has good quality grabbers. I have been using this style grabber for years. They grip most items very well. I can even pick up pills that have fallen on the floor. They are invaluable to me because I am elderly and handicapped. The price was reasonable. The cheaper ones with suction cups on the tips do not work well and fall apart easily. I keep both the long and short grabbers. Short grabbers are good for picking up from the floor and nearby items. Long grabbers for reaching up high or greater distances. There are some items they don’t hold on the so well like flat pieces of paper but nothing is perfect.

Smooth action!
Love these! The most notable feature is the smooth action of the grip and I figured out they work exceptionally well for picking wild blackberries and black raspberries from deep within the thorny bushes. Easy to pick off berries without crushing them nor getting torn up by the thorns. Also works well on my cherry tree! I have an older and different brand of grabber but it snaps so it was crushing berries and cherries.Obviously a seasonal period for such a use but I just clean off the tips before heading out to berry patches. Thanks to the birds that dropped berries years ago and created the random patches.The gripping power is also high so I can tackle heavy objects.

Great grabber for picking things off the floor
I purchased these grabbers for a pregnant friend so she wouldn’t have to bend over to pick something up off the floor. They are easy to use and the grabber end can be rotated any way you want. The tips of the grabber are flexible rubber so picking things up is easy. They come in different lengths as well. A great gift for anyone.

Nice length for sitting at desk
First bought the longer version of these after having back surgery. Very handy when to use when you’re not allowed to bend over. My husband decided he needed shorter ones at his desk so he got these for Christmas. They’re lightweight, durable and the shorter length works well for what he needs.

I bought these for my mom who had been having hard time bending prior to hip surgery. Now following hip replacement they are a life saver, as she can reach almost everything she needs now, stuff that falls on floor, or stuff that is higher up. She states they are very sturdy compared to a previous reacher she had. That one broke after 1 week if use, ended up in garbage. She loves that there is a short one and a long one for different needs. Has been using them for weeks now with no issues. She is a very happy customer.
