The Power Probe Amp Tip takes your Power Probe from only measuring dc volts to amps. The backlit LCD screen displays both the Amps as well as the min/max amps. It measures as amps as low as 1mA and up to 10A continuesly. The adapter tip allows you to ensure that the current never exceeds 75% of the fuse that it protects. The adapter is easy to install. Just remove the tip from your power probe and install the adapter into the banana jack.

We had a Ford truck with brand new blower motor kept blowing the resistor. Use this tool to check. Draw on blower motor. Found out new blower motor. Too many amps being drawn. Good tool

Excellent attachment to the power probe. Confirmed to me that my rusty old radiator fan was not drawing excessive current causing the fuse to blow as I expected but the cause is likely a short upstream of the fan .

This amp adaptor does exactly what I expected. Excellent addition to a Power Probe, adding circuit current feedback while testing loaded circuits.Seems the battery life isn’t great: battery indicator shows low at an hour and a half run time.
