Solid Tool for Metal Work
This rivet nut gun has been a really useful addition to my workshop for various metal projects. The self-locking head makes swapping out mandrels super quick and easy, which saves a lot of time. It feels really sturdy and well-made in my hand, and the adjustable speed is handy for different tasks. I appreciate that it’s designed to be comfortable to use for longer periods, and it’s not overly loud which is a bonus. It’s definitely made putting threaded inserts into metal a much smoother process.

Comes with Useful Extras
This rivet nut gun comes with three interchangeable heads—1/4″, 5/16″, and 3/8″—and each one includes five mandrels. That gives you a decent variety right out of the box, so you’re not left scrambling to find extra parts in the middle of a project. It feels like everything you need to get started is already included, which is always a plus.

This is a pretty well built tool. The construction seems solid. I.used it only for.maybe 10 rivits but it did a fantastic job..there are next to no instructions so watch the video on Amazon or its easy to figure out.It says no stainless rivits tho I’ve used them.and they seem to work fine. The only thing to understand is that this kit will service the three thread pitches listed and that’s it. I assume if you find an Allen Socket screw that’s a different thread you can use different nuts. But the kit only comes with three thread sizes applicable to the three size thread pitch and sizes listed on the advertisement site.Cool.option to have in the shop.

Simple Controls with Adjustable Speed
The speed knob is a nice touch—easy to turn and gives you some control over how fast it works. The forward and reverse switch is clearly marked, so even if you’re new to tools like this, it shouldn’t be hard to figure out.

Be warned – cheap bolts
Be warned – 2 of the 1/4-20 bolts used to set the inserts broke on the first 2 inserts I installed causing me to spend a significant amount of time removing the broken stud or removing the thread sert completely and starting over.

This rivet nut gun kit works way better than I expected. It’s sturdy, easy to control, and has plenty of power. I used it on a few metal projects and it handled everything without any issues. The trigger feels smooth and the nuts go in clean every single time.I really like that it comes with different sizes and a decent case to keep everything together. Setting it up was simple and it didn’t take long to get the hang of it. You can tell it’s built to last and not one of those cheap tools that fall apart after a few uses.Overall, this thing saves time and makes the job a lot easier. Definitely worth the money if you work with rivet nuts often.
