Perfect Deburring Every time
Have you ever cut off a screw and then used a flap wheel to debur and straighten threads. If you want the easy way to do it purchase the deburring tool. So easy to use and it makes a perfect chamfer. Nut goes right on. I cannot get any easier.

Great Tool, But a Little Hard to Control
The PLATINUMEDGE Deburring External Chamfer Tool with its YG8 carbide blade is a great tool for removing burrs and repairing damaged bolts. The 1/4-inch hex shank makes it easy to attach to most drills, and it works effectively on sizes from 1/8” to 3/4” (3mm-19mm). The quick-release feature is convenient for swapping out tools. However, it can be a bit hard to control, especially when working on smaller or more delicate tasks. While the tool does its job well, I found that it takes a bit of practice to use it smoothly and accurately. Overall, it’s a solid tool for deburring, but the lack of precision control knocks it down a star. Still highly recommended for the right projects!

Durable and cuts a great bevel
Worked great for fixing the ends of all thread. Also used to fix the tip of the studs on my exhaust manifold.Actually great for the price. I’ve used it 2-3 times a week since purchase and it’s outlasted my Klien version.

GREAT FOR SMOOTHING CUT BOLTS
Bought this to dress the ends of bolt stock being trimmed with a cut-off wheel. 3-4 seconds in a drill left clean threads and no problems threading nuts onto them. Looks well made, solid, should last a while.

First and maybe only deburring chamfer bit!
This is the first deburring chamfer bit I’ve purchased and after years of using a grinder or files, I don’t know why I waited so long! I did a lot of research and trust the Amazon community to give mostly fair reviews so with this bit rated so high, it was an easy choice. Here are my take always after several uses:Aluminum – Easy clean cut and only one very minor issue. While “carving” 1/4” rod ends into stakes, the bit can get a little blocked up at the center from the ribbon of aluminum scraping off. A little brush/pick worked great to clear it. Used drill/cutting oil and very easy to carve down to a point.Steel Threaded Rod – Good clean cut every time. Make sure to use drill/cutting oil to keep heat down.Stainless Steel Rod – Very impressed with the clean chamfer edge on 8mm rod stock. Again use oil to keep the heat down and this bot should last a very long time.

Not ideal for stainless threaded rod
Does not bevel 3/8” stainless steel threaded rod very well

Works great on treaded rod.

Worked great on my transmission cooler lines.Price was good.Arrived fast.Even comes with its own holder..

I tried it out right away and it works. It put a nice smooth edge on treaded rod making the bolt slide on with ease. For the price I was sceptical but like being proven wrong. I typically use a grinder but this does a much better job. Recommended.
