Easy to use and it saved us money on repairs!
This is a nice code ready and it is fairly easy to use. It provides basic codes and the instructions worked well for reading and clearing the codes. Of course, if you do not solve the root to the problem, the codes come back but it was nice to eliminate them for the drive to pick up parts. We ended up ordering most of the parts online and saved lots of money thanks to this great tool. The vehicle we use it on is a 2001 model so we just keep in in the glove box and it is a awesome product to have.

FANTASTIC product that will save a TON in garage fees – especially good for clearing DEQ codes !
This scanner is fantastic! Just what I needed. It quickly hooked up to my OBD port on my truck, finding the appropriate vehicle quickly and correctly. It’s cord was long enough to set on the dash while I recorded the code readings. While it provided the accurate codes needed, I then went to the internet to research further. THE SUPER DEAL on this is that I was able to CLEAR the code warning so that my truck could clear the DEQ review for licensing !!! Fantastic value, and even BETTER Deal if you add in the savings of not having to pay a service garage BIG $$ to clear the code for DEQ ~~ LOVE THIS !!

Finally a decent OBD scanner at a reasonable price! I have a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe and this item had been a lifesaver and also saved me a lot on repairs already. My check engine light was on and the gas gauge was not working correctly and I noticed a drop in fuel mileage. After plugging in the scanner I was able to see clearly my fuel pump and fuel sending unit was not working correctly. I used the obd reader which was simple to reset and turn off the check engine light after a day or so of driving the check engine light came on and once again the codes indicated problem with the fuel sending unit and fuel pump. This time I made note of the codes and called around for quotes on repairs about $2,000 was the average. After watching a couple of how to videos on you tube I ordered the parts which cost $315 and did the replacement myself. It was a little tricky I had to remove the back seat I replaced the fuel sending unit and pump and got it done in about 4 hours. Thanks to this scanner I saved a lot of cash and a bit of appreciation for mechanics ! Now nI keep it in the car and was also able to check before taking it in to get it smogged and registered, passed !!! Yay 👍🏻
