Easy to find correct circuit breaker
So far so good, it works great, easy to find the right circuit breaker. Display shows 110v I don’t think it’s actual voltage, I think it shows that normal voltage is present (I have a Ting device that shows voltage in my home is between 117v and 120v) not a big deal because I’m not using it as a voltmeter. The finder also works as a NCVT voltage tester. I like they are rechargeable and have a nice storage case. Not bad for the price

I have 3 diferent one products all of them are great tools paying for them selves in the very first job. I see a some people complaining about sensitivity and tone signal and the discovery capacity. To those I feel sorry. Learn how to use it and then make purchase. I have some of them over few Thounsend dollars. That one is very easy to use but again you need to know the basics. After that it is so easy and fast. Highly recommend almost all line of Tracer’s tools

Tried 2 units, neither provided accurate real time voltage, only 1 alerted on single breaker.
Item is alerting on multiple breakers, and it’s next to impossible to determien which is the correct breaker, even with the sensitivity turned all the way down. Also, the transmitter always reads 110VAC when plugged into a live outlet, even though a multimeter reading shows the actual voltage to be 119-122 VAC on every tested outlet.I have requested a replacement tester, will update this review once it arrives and I can test it.Added 08 Dec 2025: Receved a replacement unit, which at least allowed me to determine the correct breaker. However, this unit also read 110 VAC every time it was plugged in, even when a multimeter reading on the other plug of a duplex outlet read 119-122 VAC. Since this doesn’t meet the unit description (provides real time voltage), I’m returning this unit for my money back.

Great addition to your toolbox!
Can happily report that this was a great addition to my friend’s home & real estate toolbox. No more needing to have another person with you when trying to figure out which circuit breaker is attached to an outlet. Another plus is no batteries to replace, just recharge with included charger cord.

When I received the device, I saw that the package had a spot for 2 x AAA batteries, but it wasn’t in the pack, so not sure if it’s missing or was not included. If you’re going to form the package for the required batteries, it should have been in the package.The device has a large LCD screen, 2 buttons and an LED light at the bottom.With the device on, the backlit display is very clear and highly visible.With the device plugged into the outlet, it immediately tells you if it’s been wired correctly or if there’s an issue. You can also use it as a power tester to see if your outlet is live or not. It provides visible information on the display as well as a green or red LED on the end to quickly tell you the status so you can tell from a distance if trying to turn off the breaker for the outlet.Quickly pressing the power button while on will enable the HOLD feature so you can unplug the device and still have the reading on the display so you can document the readings.The GFCI button allows you to test GFCI outlets to ensure they’re working properly. I plugged it into a GFCI outlet and hit the GFCI button and it immediately caused the outlet button to pop with 009sec on the display. Unfortunately, it lacks clarity on how long it actually took to trip the outlet. With it showing 009sec, I wasn’t sure if that is .009s, 0.09s or 9s as I didn’t see a decimal point anywhere and checking the instructions on the back of the packaging it says the measurements are supposed to me in milliseconds, so it should be 9ms. The display should have shown msec or ms vs showing SEC, which causes a lot of confusion. In addition to the display, the end of the device also switched from a green LED to a red to indicate an issue.Overall, the Noyafa NF-821 GFCI outlet tester worked great. It provides a clear screen and shows you any issues with your electrical outlets and can be used to test the GFCI functionality. I do wish the instructions, or display was a bit clearer in regard to the reading as it was a bit confusing with conflicting information and wish it came with the required batteries as the packaging has a space for them but weren’t in the box. Other than that, would be a good addition to your toolbox. At the time of this review, the tester was priced at $32.99 with an available $5 off coupon, which places it on par with comparable products on Amazon.
