Note: DOES NOT WORK WITH MOTORCYCLES. I bought this to use after having my ECU flashed. The reader doesn’t even recognize a new YAMAHA MT09. Tried one a few other new bikes, doesn’t read the VIN, info or DTCs as described. Works on Jeep, trucks, cars, but not motorcycles.

Does not Connect Yamaha Nmax
Does not connect to my 2020 Yamaha nmax scooter so very disapointing. Vehlive should list models it can function correctly with. I will test on other vehicles but at this point it looks like this was a complete waste and does no useful function for me.

Pretty good product. Comes with a jumper cable and instruction book (if you need that). It will not read most Kawasaki’s although it says it does. Not because of the product. But because Kawasaki has their own special software (KDS-Kawasaki Diagnostic System) that the ECU runs with. So you likely will not be able to connect to your Kawi if you have one. But it’s great tho. Has instructions on how to connect and use the jumper too which is super cool. Great price for what you get for sure. The jumper cable is essentially a universal adapter with just the prongs.

Not compatible with my 2023 BMW
Was not compatible with my motorcycle. 2023 BMW would not even clear a trouble code. That’s the only reason I bought it was to clear a trouble code very disappointed.

I don’t want to give it one star bcz I think these people are trying their best in some confusion to bring this scanner up to scanning some motorbikes. Though I received it with its security stickers broken, opened. But I kept it anyway. Good thing is that it has a website and there is a software update for it which I installed but didn’t see any changes anywhere. It took 25 minutes to update. Does not show you what files are being updated. I see some reviews say a couple of them they were able to scan couple of motorbikes , Great ! But I have yet to see that. Also it tries to scan cars but short and not something that makes sense. The language the description is from some other planet for now. Added some pics of it. Since its security warranty seals were already broken I wanted to look inside if it was repaired or damaged. Seems to be all ok and turns on though functionality has yet to show up.
