What should I do if a communication error occurs?Follow the steps below to identify the problem:
1) Check if the ignition is ON.
2) Check if the TopScan Moto is securely plugged into the motorcycle’s diagnostic port.
3) Turn the ignition off. Then, turn it on after 10 seconds and continue the operation.
4) Check if the motorcycle’s control module is defective.
Can multiple devices be bound to one TopScan app account?Yes.
Do I need to update the firmware before using it for the first time?Yes. Firmware will automatically update to the latest version once the TopScan is connected with your phone via Bluetooth. You can also tap Me > Firmware Update to update the firmware manually.
Why do I need to download the diagnostic software after installing the TopScan app?Since there are various vehicle manufacturers, different diagnostic software is required for different brands.

Works very well. Instructions a little hazy, but not impossible. I used it successfully to reset the oil service light on my BMW R1250R with my iPhone.

if You’re looking to clear srs codes this scanner may not be able to clear them depending on what is triggering the code to come up. But this company has great customer service so worth giving it a try knowing they will back up their product.

Not worth the price as it is still in Beta for all intents and purposes.
Unit did not work well with my BMW bike. Would not connect to some of the modules in the bike. The connection link to the phone would drop constantly. After connecting to the bike it would disable the start function, and it would not reenable it. You would have to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to get the bike to start again. It is getting 2 stars because customer support was very prompt in responding when contacted and they claimed they would fix the issues. But I am not paying this much money to beta test their product. An OBDLink MX+ is only a few dollars more and then another few dollars for the specific BMW software via a third party works much better and far cheaper than the 911 option for BMWs.

Cleared a code I needed to clear. Other than that it’s very generic.
I needed it to clear a code. It had no problem with it. Worth the $23 but don’t expect much more than that out if it.
