Simple to use, no issues. I had to use it to test my battery as well which gave me an indication of a slow initial crank time for my car. Well worth it.

Better than AutoZone free scanner
Works better than AutoZone! We had a check engine light on our suv P0456. We took it to a mechanic to tell us what the actual issue was, turned out it was the Evap Purge Valve. We replaced it ourself & then disconnected the battery to clear the code. We took it to autozone to make sure the code was gone. AutoZone said their scanner showed no code and even printed the results. Took it to get smogged for our tags and the smog station said nope the code was still showing and we had to do more drive cycles. Purchased this scanner and it actually showed us the code right away. Wanted this so we could keep doing drive cycles and actually see for ourselves if/when it was ready to get smogged. Love that it reads the battery life too! The only issue I don’t like is that when taking it off it is very hard to remove, scared to break it or break my 16pin connector on my suv.

Didn’t work for me and unresponsive
It didn’t do what I wanted it to do and was unresponsive at times, the price was good and it has a great screen that is vibrant and features like a battery tester and crank test, but I was unhappy with mine.

Wasn’t sure whether this would be any good. Used it to check the reason why the engine management light was on. It generated an appropriate code which I looked up. Also can be used to get live data.Easy to use.Value for money

This is a handy and cost effective diagnostic tool. It does not support ABS or SRS functions, as it will only allow you to do the basic diagnostic codes, but it can be updated with the supplied USB cable so that as new codes come out for newer vehicles, it can be kept up to date. It does support some realtime live data, however that part is limited to the basics. For most basic things, it’s a handy little tool, and unlike some other products of its kind, it will not only tell you the code, but it will also give you the definition for the code as well, which saves you from having to look it up. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something efficient, easy to use, and perfect for most basic diagnostics.
