Simple to use. $20 saved me an expensive trip to the shop. Code was for an evap leak. Checked and cleaned gas cap, reset code and check engine light. Hasn’t reoccurred. Now it’s in my arsenal of auto tools.

Just what I was looking for. My car misfires on start-up when it’s below freezing. My mechanic has already diagnosed the issue, but it doesn’t affect the car when it is warmed up. So now I can verify that it is the same code, then clear it, until I can get it repaired.

The MOTOPOWER MP69033 Pro OBD2 Scanner gives sufficient diagnostics info and is good for clearing codes. It helped me to clear code on my Kia Sedona 2009. The device works as advertised.

I was sceptical about this item, due to the low price. However, this Scanner exceeded my expectations. Quite solid construction, light to carry and the lead is just the right length to work with. The socket was nice fit to my car. The Scanners screen is very clear and sharp. Using same is quite intuitive and remarkably easy. It diagnosed a fault with my car straight away, with no fuss. Comes with a nice carry-case and light enough to keep in the car. I give this a 5 star reccomendation for good design, sturdy build, easy to read screen, the easy to reset fault codes (after fixing the fault of course 😀) Easy to use for a first timer and very quick delivery.

Helped diagnose an ignition coil problem. What cost me $400 at a repair shop when one ignition coil went….I repaired with a $30 part the next time an ignition coil went.

At the price point I wasn’t expecting much but boy did it over deliver.I had an engine fault warning light on my van and was sure it was just low battery despite it not resetting after sticking through battery on charge overnight.Thankw to Amazon’s quick delivery the OBD2 scanner turned up just as I was disconnecting the battery charger. I plugged it in and sure enough the only fault code was a low voltage warning.When I tried to start the van it happened again so I tried the battery test which failed so I bought a new battery (as the existing one was 8 years old), reset the fault codes again and all is good now.Taking the van to the garage would’ve probably cost me £50 for a diagnosis and more for them to test the battery and fit the new one. So on its first outing I’m in profit. Result!The scanner is easy to use and has a library you can look up fault codes too.For the price it’s an amazing bit of kit and will stay in my van permanently so I can check any issues and decide if they need more professional support or if I can fix them myself.In fact the product is cheap enough I’m tempted to buy another for my car too so I’ve always got one with me!
