    Everyone has their favorite screwdriver, favorite pliers, etc. This is my favorite Milwaukee tool. Years ago we attended a Fall Farmfest near our town, and a vendor had one of these cut-off/grinder tools. He installed a Bad Dog diamond cutting blade and that combination sold me. It is extremely versatile for small jobs that need cutting, from wire to plastics and everything in between. I now own three of these tools, keeping one at the ranch, one at the house, and one in my packout. You will LOVE this tool. I recommend getting the 3.0amp Milwaukee battery so you can tail stand it.     Best most used work tool I have with minor issues
    I use this thing almost daily for a wide variety of applications when I’m fabrication in the maintenance shop for over a year now. Plastic welding: cuts old welds and cleans them up. Cutting all-thread, bolts, plate steel, aluminum, stainless, plastic and anything else. I use the side of the wheel for grinding pipes, sharp edges, and shaping as well: not really normal used but never had a problem. But it’s not perfect. 12v means it’s not for heavy stuff and it can get bogged down. It eats batteries quickly with heavy use so 4 stars, but I love it and couldn’t do without it. If this one broke tomorrow, I’d get another without hesitation.

    Super for those times when the bigger grinder is overkill. Used it first on a piano hinge I was cutting down. Perfect for that. Love the small size.The reversible direction is nice for being able to direct the sparks away from you.
