I use permanent markers constantly for work as an electrician, these Milwaukee markers are hands-down the best I’ve found. The tips are strong and don’t mash down like cheaper brands. They write clearly on dusty, oily, and rough surfaces like wood, metal, plastic, even wet materials.What I really love is the built-in clip and the quick-drying ink. I can throw it in my pocket or clip it to my hat, and it’s always ready to go. Plus, it doesn’t dry out too fast if you leave the cap off for a bitIf you need a marker that can keep up with tough jobs and rough handling, Milwaukee nailed it. Definitely a five-star product and definitely a great price!

Tough version of a Sharpie
These things write on just about every surface. I cut a bunch of fence boards in the rain and while the lines aren’t quite as clear, they even mark on wet wood. They seem to hold up much better than regular permanent makers.

These are nice markers with great true fine tips. I thought I had found my new favorite marker after a bad experience with the brand that starts with S. Right up until the ink got wet and ran. The writing was still completely legible but the ink crept all over the place and it only took seconds with just plain water. If it was a non-black color I would have understood a bit but this is the black pens. I can use them for most of what I had planned, just not everything. I doubt I will repurchase since being at least water resistant is important to me.
