Fantastic, versatile tool
This tool has so many uses, from trimming wood, to sanding, to cutting off screws and nails. I find myself using this a lot and very happy I have it. Get some quality attachments and this will do a lot for you.

Quality M18 Oscillating Tool
Love this Milwaukee Oscillating tool. A little heavy but cuts with ease. Minimal vibration. Previously was using a Harbor Freight corded type that I just wore out.

Plenty of power with low vibration.
I previously had a corded Dremel oscillating tool that finally stopped working after years of use. Power, low vibration and reliability are key with me since I am a contractor. And I rely on my tools to pay my bills. I was going to purchase a corded Fein oscillating tool, but decided to go with the Milwaukee M18 Fuel oscillating tool because I wanted the convenience of it being cordless. I am extremely pleased with the performance and low vibration of this tool. The auto speed controlIs a great feature. My only complaint is that I wish it would stand straight up from the battery, instead of having to lay it down.

It’s a beast
Ordered the 2836-20 new fire 152.00 delivered with tax. Home depot seeking it for $229. Came in retail box sealed and wrapped as expected. Serial number indicates it was manufactured in November of 2023. So it’s new. No sign of use at all.Cut through a 2×4 like it didn’t even exist using the included blade. It’s gonna earn its paycheck on Monday but I’m not expecting any problems. I love a block away from the Milwaukee headquarters and there more than helpful if there are problems. The battery is loose for some reason, but that’s expected after watching the reviews of it on line. Also the chuck isn’t fixed in place, probably for a reason. The only thing I’d change is the tool changing mechanism. It’s kind of hard to unscrew the screw after using it. You’ll need a screw driver or something to turn it when it’s time to change. Dewalt’s design is bulkier, but till charges are a breeze. But since I’m invested in Milwaukee tools and batteries this was an easy choice when I caught it on sale. All in all a great deal on a great tool that will make me lots of money. I’m happy

Nice tool to splurge on.
So many odd uses for this that makes it so handy and hard to do jobs without it now. For nearly 2 decades in construction from residential to commercial ive seen these things come and go in the field. From receptacle box attachments that i once laughed at too cutting door jams out for flooring. It just seemed like a niche tool for odd jobs. Then i decided to build a deck where i needed a tool to cut some siding out in a tight spot where a sawzall wouldnt do the job. This tool exceeded my expectations for its usefulness. I used 5/4 deck boards and found myself using this to notch for every post. Trust me i have plenty of professional tools that i could’ve used instead but this was easy. I also added some 45⁰ supports off my 6×6 post and used this to sort of notch out where it landed on a joist hanger. It did the job without hesitation. If i had to add one con to the tool and it’s more a flaw on the cutting blade than tool itself is that it simply doesnt cut metal very well. Standard non hardened metals yes but if you need to say cut a nail then fully expect a destroyed blade, excessive noise and a lengthy process to remove compared to other tools.
