I am not a wood worker! I wanted to make small Christmas trees for my grandkids at Christmas and I struggle cutting boards with my circular saw. This Miter saw worked awesome! It was simple to set up and use. It is lightweight, the cuts were accurate. It was easy to move from cutting one angle to another. Plenty of power to cut the boards I was using. The dust collector is small but does an adequate job. I would highly recommend this saw.

I absolutely love this miter saw! I get perfect 45 degree angles every time. Heads up, the blade that comes with it is great for rough cuts. I make floater frames and had to purchase another blade for a finer finish. If you don’t mind some tear out, then no need to change the blade. I highly recommend this product and it is reasonably priced. It’s perfect for crafters, DIY folks and pros on the go.

Husband Loved this saw.
This was a surprise for my wonderful, construction worker husband and it was a big hit. He uses this saw on every single job he decides to take on. He just started his business and has no helpers yet. He advised me this had been a life saver when he has to cut angles in he boards. Even though it is predominantly for trim, my husband makes it work for all sizes like 2 x 4s, etc. The saw can be adjusted to lean at different angles which accommodates a wide range of angle cuts. This little saw is tough because my husband built a stick barn large enough for a tractor and several implements with enough footage for a closed in storage room. It has a place to hook a shop vacuum so that cuts down on dust flying every where. That is nice because he doesn’t track it into my house when he comes home. He said it’s very easy to operate. And he has had wrist surgery, he said the handles were very comfortable for him to use to operate and adjust the saw. This product is well worth the money, highly functional and portable or stationary. My husband is enjoying his Mitre saw and it has been so handy since he works alone. He just loads it in his work truck and heads to the job. Now for big support beams and heavy duty work a bigger saw might be better. But for my husband’s needs it is perfect for now.

A few issues but overall a great saw
Very nice, easy set up i looked at youtube and follwed along…easy a pie. There were a few problems for me. Couldn’t find the flat screw for the left guard arm, (after calling the help line,&getting No help) I later found the flat screw w/nut inside the sawdust bag when i went to dump out my first load of sawdust it fell out on the groundthank goodness I saw it also after finishing the assembly and a one time use the lock for the blade was way off and would not lock the blade in the downward close position. next the saw dust did not all go in the sawdust bag, I had just as much sawdust on my table as in the sawbag. You also may want to screw this Saw down to something so it does not move on you while in use…I had it on a strong non shaking table…the saw just would not stay in places when in use, also when cutting my wood I had alot of jump back wood meaning the cut into the wood was great but when bring the blade back up the blade would grad the wood and it went flying somewhere and this did happen often even with the wood tightly pressed down..for the price it is a Good beginner saw for all projects around your home now I did buy another blade in hopes of a smoother cut on both sides of the wood and no kick back with the wood(i have not removed the blade yet).I plan to get as much use from This saw as I can..so you want to know, would I recommend you buy this saw…Yes… (If you don’t mind the few minor issues). I would buy it again!! It gets the job done…with reasonable price..

I am not a heavy user but wanted something for projects as they come up. This fits my needs nicely. It is not fancy but does the job. It took a little bit of learning to see how the cut would line up and it is a little bulky (for something I do not use frequently). Has cut through any wood or composite boards I gave it and did a good job of collecting a lot of the saw dust. The cord could be a little longer but just throw an extension cord on it and you’re fine.

I purchased this miter saw because I needed to replace the trim molding around several exterior doors and widows. The saw produced extremely accurate 45° and 90° cuts right out of the box without any fine tuning required. The LED Shadow cutting guide facilitates precision cuts, but I used the tool in my garage so I don’t know how well it works in direct sunlight.

I really like this new model much better than the old model (C10FCGS). Metabo HPT 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw, Xact Cut LED Shadow Line System, Precision Miter Angles, Single Bevel 0-45°, 40T TCT Blade, Positive Stops, Lightweight Design, 2nd Gen Version, C10FCG2. It seems to be built with better quality over all. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with Extension Wings even though there are holes drilled for them. I recommend that if you buy this saw you buy a good blade to replace the blade that it comes with. I had a rough time removing the existing blade because the Arbor Nut was stuck and wouldn’t unscrew. I finally did get it to unscrew. First of all, the arbor nut was stuck because it was painted in place with the black paint. You have to break the paint seal before it can unscrew. I used a 7 inch Curved Jaw Locking Pliers to grab the Arbor Nut. I locked the blade with the blade lock button and tapped the Locking Pliers handle with a mallet repeatedly until the Arbor Nut broke the paint seal and unscrewed. Remember, the threads on the Arbor Nut is NOT Righty Tighty. It is Righty Loosey! The

I got this to save me from having to keep lifting my heavy circular saw when building a long wooden fence. It worked great for cutting fence boards to length. I was expecting mediocre quality for the low price, but I had no problems at all. It seemed very solid and kept its alignment and angle setting well with no slippage. Some reviewers were disappointed with the blade it came with, but for me it kept its sharpness after cutting 200 fence boards. I recommend this tool.

Bueno bonito y barato afortunadamente lo compre por la mitad de lo que cuesta ahora, así que fue una buena compra aunque llevo poco tiempo con ella aprox 1 año sigue funcionando igual aunque tiene una parte rota por qué se me cayó y se rompió de la parte donde se atornilla a un banco y sigue como si nada .. la volvería a comprar , aunque deben saber que solo contra hasta máximo 15 -16 cm que son más que suficientes para cortar chambranas, molduras o tablas

Bought this to do my own molding in my basement. Super easy to use, but make sure you watch a Youtube video on setting it up instead of the included instruction manual. I bought a 60 tooth blade and removed the standard 24 tooth blade to ensure a finer cut. I was able to do all my miter angles perfectly and could easily fit a 3.5” mdf board upright. It is also really lightweight and easy to carry. As someone who is by no means a handyman, I have never used a saw like this before but I was completely at ease and did not feel intimidated.
