Great tool for the price!
It’s easy to put together- it took me about 10 minutes. It took me about another 10 minutes to get the adjustments just right. And in another 10 minutes I had stripped about 50 feet of 6 gauge wire. I attached it to a piece of scrap 2 x6 so that I can clamp it to a workbench or sawhorse. This way the clamp stays out of the way of the handle. I haven’t used it on any wire smaller than 8 gauge. But it works great on any of the bigger wire sizes. I might add that the wire should be as straight as possible. If it is kinked or bent, it might be best to cut those sections out. After stripping about 200′ of wire so far, I’ve had no problems. Get the adjustments right and you’re good to go.

Perfect for stripping wire
Literally perfect, easy to use and will take some abuse so far too. Get creative and make it to where it automatically removes the sheathing for you and save yourself time. Used a Dewalt drill and it cut through easily and fed even at full speed .

Worth the money.
I’m very happy with this product. It comes with a spare blade, the hand crank works fine, and can be replaced by a cordless drill that makes it work even faster. The shaft that the blade is on rides on bearings, and the whole unit is built to last. I have used it and the blades retain their edge. It’s compact and will store away in the box it came in. I just wish I had this years ago. Very happy with this machine.

Great wire stipper
We haul scrap metal as a side hustle and we recently picked up quite a bit plastic coated copper wire. We attempted to strip it with a knife but it just took too long. I looked on Amazon for a wire stripper that could handle different sized coated wiring. I ran across this one and it was a great price so we decided to try it. My husband set it up, temporarily on a 6×6 board and got it adjusted for the size wire we were working with and after a few adjustments with the blade, it stripped over 50′ of wire in less time than it took us to hand strip 10′. We then stripped some welder leads in less than 5 minutes. Great value for the price. Would definitely buy again.
