Fun wheel kit for creative kids and parents willing to help
This is a very cute set for any kids on the older side interested in pottery. I bought this so my tween son and I could practice working with clay and a wheel at our home. Although it could be viewed as a toy, it’s more of a “creative learning” tool that lets you explore another aspect of playing with clay, like using a wheel to make sleeker looking clay things like little cups, vases, pots, etc.As someone whose taken pottery wheel classes before, it was easy to know how to set this up and use it, but even then, it did require a bit of getting acquainted to the small size of the wheel. The kit comes with everything you will need, except “patience”—you have to come prepared to provide that, ha ha. For this to work and for you to have a good experience you’re going to have to spend at least an hour with it (not counting set up and clean up time).I highly recommend watching some of the online videos out there of other people using this wheel, so you can manage your expectations. Clay work is not for everyone. I think this is a really fun gift for any artistic child (or adult) who is curious about working with clay, but I would not recommend it for anyone else since this could be an un-artistic parent’s worst nightmare and they will not thank you for it.As others have said, if you are gifting this to yourself or someone else, purchase additional clay because you can’t do much with two packs. I’m overall satisfied with the product and feel it’s accurately described.I hope the manufacturer makes a “teen” clay wheel with nicer paints too because I could see that being a fun thing for creative teens.

Clay is very very hard.. it’s pretty difficult to mold
This product says for ages three and up my daughter is eight years old and we found it very hard to do.. It is also very very messy.. after multiple attempts to make a bowl, we were unsuccessful and finally gave up.. It has been sitting in a box ever since… this was a Christmas gift.

Good size and amount of clay
I bought this so my kids would have something to do in rainy days. It’s great for that. It’s medium sized so they can use it to make big cups. It comes with two packets of clay so I was able to use one at a time and it is easy enough for a five year old to use with a little help.

Me he quedado sorprendido con este torno de cerámica para niñ@s y sus complementos. Lo primero que llama la atención, es su diseño divertido y muy infantil, con elementos fabricados en plástico con colores vivos y muy bonitos, los niñ@s se quedan impactados al verlo. Al abrirlo, pensé que sería el típico kit de manualidades que regalas a un niñ@ y que tras probar la primera vez, no vuelve a usar, generalmente por frustración, pero nada que ver… Viene muy completo, además del torno, trae dos paquetes de arcilla, pinceles, paleta, delantal, colores para dibujar, un pilar para tallar, 2 herramientas para esculpir, una línea de corte, botella para el agua con atomizador, esponja y cable USB y un tríptico con instrucciones, entre otros idiomas, en español.Con este juego, los niñ@s pueden crear pequeñas piezas de cerámica y luego decorarlas a su gusto, esto convierte a este kit en algo más allá de un juguete, favorece la creatividad en los peques, invitándoles a crear formas, figuras y explorando la libertad de crear descubriendo su estilo personal.La rueda es adaptable a dos velocidades, la más baja nos ha resultado más sencilla de usar para moldear, ya que en su versión más rápida, nuestra falta de destreza nos llevó a perder control sobre la pieza, creo que a medida que uno vaya tomándole el tranquillo, puede llegar a ser más funcional la velocidad alta, pero no es nuestro caso aún.Puntos a tener en cuenta: estamos moldeando con arcilla de secado al aire, lo cual es fantástico, ya que acudir a un horno profesional además de dificultoso, es bastante costoso, pero por contra, debemos tener en cuenta que la arcilla “seca al aire”, suele ser bastante más frágil que la cocida, especialmente si las piezas llevan filigranas o paredes especialmente finas y delgadas, por lo que al terminar la producción, debemos tener en cuenta que son elementos frágiles.Conclusión: Este juego de alfarería, es un regalo original para niñ@s creativos a lo que le guste disfrutar creando con sus propias manos y dibujando; también lo veo ideal para despertar en los pequeños interés por técnicas artísticas desconocidas pero fundamentales para entender la historia del arte y la creación de objetos.

Tolle Töpferscheibe für Kinder. In dem Set ist alles enthalten, was man benötigt um tolle Teile zu Töpfern. Es ist os leicht aufzubauen und zu bedienen, sodass es die Kinder komplett selbst machen konnten. Man muss nichts extra kaufen oder vorbereiten, das Set beinhaltet alles.

Vivo, attualmente, in un paesino che fa’ della ceramica il suo punto di forza, per questo non appena ho visto questo articolo nel programma Vine ho subito approfittato per testarlo, con la mia bimba di cinque anni principalmente, perchè l’altro di quasi due è troppo piccolo. Devo dire che è un set magnifico, realmente.Ha al suo interno tutto l’occorrente e che, una volta esaurito – parliamo di colori a tempera, argilla ad asciugatura rapida (senza cuocerla) – potrà essere riacquistato. Oltre ai dodici colori troviamo, scalpellini, pennelli, un flacone spray, grembiulino ed una spugna.E’ l’ideale per cominciare ad avvicinare i più piccini all’arte “manipolatoria” degli oggetti. Aiutandoli nello sviluppo della cordinazione visiva e manuale. Si aziona manulmente con una pompa o con un pedale collegato, a sua volta, alla corrente per il tramite di un cavo usb fornito in dotazione. Certo riconosco che il prezzo non è economico ma, per quello che fornisce e quello che non fornisce ma viene aggiunto da noi (tempo di valore con i nostri piccoli) è un acquisto più che valido ed un ottimo regalo di compleanno/natale.
