    Durable and Precise Crimping Tool
The Klein Tools 1005 Cutting/Crimping Tool is exactly what I needed for working with 10–22 AWG terminals and connectors. It handles both insulated and non-insulated terminals with ease, and the cuts and crimps are precise every time. The tool feels sturdy and well-built, with excellent leverage for clean crimps without straining your hand. Being Made in the USA gives extra confidence in its quality and longevity. If you do any electrical work or DIY wiring, this is a reliable, professional-grade tool worth having in your toolkit.

These are the go to !
Had a pair of these for 8 years and well they walked off the job site !!! Oh I was mad. I could not find these anywhere ,. Anyway they always worked well never had any play . Great tool and for me the ease of one hand manipulation. The brand is expensive but hold up well to the daily grind

    Great quality
Klein does make the best crimpers. Used them for a long time.

    Very strong and quality build
One of the only products I can say for sure a solid 5 stars. Solid solid engineering. No play so far and I’ve been using these for 3 years and on multiple different car audio installations. I use these for crimp caps in car electrical interior work and they work like a champ. Strong and easy grip, the value and quality is great. It is designed logically with the intent to get the job done efficiently and thorough. I love using these with my crimp caps because the connection never fails. Great tool, a must have for electrical enthusiasts.

These work but have one drawback…
These are OK. For the price I would expect slightly better fit and finish. My main complaint with these is they do not release easily. In other words, they do not open and close easily and smoothly. You almost have to use two hands to open them. There is no spring or mechanism, they just are hard to open and close, even after lubricating the joint.I will say that these do crimp well; they bite down on the connector and wire very firmly.

    Does the job!
Arrived in excellent condition. Very happy with product. Standard grip and comfort. Good leverage length makes terminal crimping easy and effective.

I bought the Klein 1005 Crimping and Cutting Tool from Amazon and I’m very impressed with the quality. It feels solid and well made straight out of the box — exactly what you’d expect from Klein Tools. The crimping action is smooth and consistent on both insulated and non-insulated terminals, giving secure crimps every time. The cutting edge is sharp and clean, making quick work of wires without fraying. I also like the comfortable grip and the fact that it doesn’t feel flimsy or awkward to use, even for longer jobs. This is clearly a professional-grade tool, but it’s just as suitable for DIY and home electrical work. A bit more expensive than budget options, but absolutely worth it for the reliability and build quality.Highly recommended if you want a dependable crimping and cutting tool that will last.

The cutters are great and the crimp tool works well. I do find that for the red butt splice heat shrink connectors on smaller gauge wire I need to use the uninsulated setting to get a tight crimp and if you’re careful you won’t cut the insulation. I prefer the non insulated setting anyway and usually that one anyway regardless
