Solid unit, easy to use
First this is really solidly built – the buttons, the connections/ports, and the unit as a whole.I connected it to Wifi and it did some updates first, before testing it with my Honda Civic, which was plug and play. It ran through diagnostics and had other more advanced options for my car that I wasn’t prepared to tweak yet. But the unit is easy to use with either its buttons or the touchscreen.The battery has been good and it seems to work with any USB-C charger which is great.Great value for what it does, along with easy updates over Wifi.

Powerful, professional-level scanner that actually saves time and money
I’ve used a lot of diagnostic scanners over the years, and the KINGBOLEN S6 Elite honestly impressed me right out of the box. This is a very advanced scan tool that gives you access to virtually all vehicle systems, not just basic engine codes.One example: we had a vehicle come into our small automotive shop with an all-around camera system malfunction. One of the cameras wasn’t working, and instead of sending the customer straight to the dealership, we were able to use the S6 Elite to scan all systems, pinpoint the fault, and diagnose the issue in-house. That alone saved the customer a ton of money and time, and it paid for the tool in my mind.The scanner does a full system scan, has a wide range of maintenance reset functions, and the live data streams are clear and easy to read. At this price point, it is a great value!
At this price point, it is a great value for the money. I already own a higher end scanner from a few year ago and so far this one is comparable. The hardware is great as it is faster than my slightly older device. Plus you get lifetime free updates which is a game changer. My older device has stopped receiving updates and I would have had to pay more than the price of this one just to get it up to date! I was able to test across a couple of cars that I had available to me such as a Lexus, Kia, and Audi. It also feels pretty robust in the hands and it has two methods of navigation. The screen is touch responsive and you are also able to use the buttons. One small nitpick I would say is that when using the button interface, it is hard to tell what you are selecting. The buttons on screen become lightly shaded when using the physical button interface and you cannot easily see where you are so you have to move the buttons around to find it. I find myself resorting back to the touchscreen interface and that is just fine for me. Each vehicle I scanned had a number of reset functions and actuation tests which is the main reason you buy a bidirectional scanner. All in all, worth the money!

Great product with a ton of makes and models in their database. Easy to get started with a wifi connection and a quick update. It does a thorough scan and lists any faults. There are other features included that your usual every day obd2 scanner cant do which I would like to test out in the near future. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

Item was delivered on time great packaging, I love that it has all the options that it has, it actually works better than the other OBD2 reader I have, it could come either a case to protect it but that’s not a big deal at all. I would recommend this to anyone that decides to buy a multi directional tool. Overall it’s very well built, gets a little warm when charging but all you have to do is flip it over to let it cool.
