    Works Great
I attach this to a large tripod and mount my StarLink on it. It allows me to get the perfect angle and direction so my StarLink is at the absolute perfect angle and direction. It has no problem with the weight of the full-size StarLink. Highly recommend

Great for Monopods and Tripods alike
Great ballhead for the money. Holds camera, Canon R7, in place with no issues. Fits great on my ifootage monopod

    Sturdy and Professional
I bought 2 of these for use on my bigger tripods but wanted to test this on a cheap little desktop style tripod. It immediately upped the quality of this small tripod and I spend the day shooting outdoor video on my camera using this set up. It is built strong, it is heavyweight which in this case makes a difference and adds to the quality while still making it easy to get into the various positions. I put a quick release on it to switch easily between iPhone and camera.

    Good solid ball head
As a general rule I don’t really like ball heads and rarely use them if there is any other option. It’s usually too hard to accurately aim the camera and lock it in place without having it sag when you let go of it, losing your aim point. For most purposes I prefer a standard three way head like the very sturdy Manfrotto #3047, or for when I want to be able to follow moving subjects, a gimbal head like the moderately priced Movo GH700 MK II. (You can pay a lot more, and probably get some advantages, but this one works for me and my budget.)The exception is for mounting the camera on a start tracker which is in turn mounted on a geared head. In that case the ball head can stay locked in place because you’re making the adjustments with the geared head.I’m using this one with a K&F Concept three way geared head and an iOptron Skytracker Pro. and the main problem I’m having is not enough clear nights!

    Works as it should
Bought this to replace a broken tripod head. It works as it should. My only complaint is the turning knob for moving the ball. I need to be aware of how my spotting scope sits or the knob gets in the way of the scope.

    Quality, Durability, Precision!!!
I use this mount to support my camera, heavy lens, microphone, and a prompter—all mounted together—and the setup gets quite heavy. I needed a joint that could hold everything securely in place without slipping, and this product fits the bill perfectly!I’ve tried cheaper alternatives, and while they worked for the first 10 minutes, they gradually started giving in to the weight, which is a huge problem if you’re in the middle of recording. With this mount, that’s no longer an issue. Once you set it up, it stays in place virtually forever. Never needed to readjust. The build quality, durability, and precision are outstanding! Every turn of the knobs is smooth, and you can tell it’s been crafted with care and attention to detail. The quick-release mechanism is also incredibly easy to use, making adjustments a breeze, and it does look good with my camera :)Don’t waste your money on cheap options that will fail when you need them most. Invest in this one from the start—you won’t regret it!

The best tripod ball so far!!

I bought this head to replace a worn out Joby with the larger cups. I use it for action cameras and small micro 4/3 camera with wide angle lens. usually as a B camera on a wild life shoot either on land or in a river. It fitted perfectly on the tripod and functions very well to aim the camera, focus and let it record without sagging due to the weight. In fact it gives me more options that the original ball head that came with the Joby tripod AND I keep the versatility of the cups of the tripod that allows easy adaption and mounting on all kind of surfaces. Keep in mind that you can use this with smaller camera setups only as it is not designed for large camera systems

  10. Donald Mallette

As advertised this item worked perfectly with my Manfrotto monopod . The price point was good and would recommend this item

  11. James Cousineau

It is now just for a backup tripod and the previous head broke quickly.

  12. Kuldeep Ghadiali

Not the best quality and smoothness.

  13. Rennie B

Holds up my Canon EOS M50 just fine. I also like that it came with an adapter. When I tried to screw the ball head on my tripod, it was too big. I was frustrated as I really needed to use the ball head and I was thinking I had to return it. But then I found the adapter in the package, screwed it into the ball head, then attached to my tripod. Easy peasy.
