Disappointing experience, software is a mess and support is worse.
I bought this specifically to register a new battery and clear basic codes on my 2018 Mercedes GLC 300, but it has been a total waste of time. Despite being advertised as a “full system bidirectional tool,” the software logic is incredibly frustrating.Key Issues:Missing Features: Critical service functions like Battery Registration (BMS) return a “Not support on this vehicle” error, even though this is a standard maintenance task for this model.Poor Interface: Essential commands are buried in non-intuitive menus (like Actuation Tests inside the SAM module) rather than being accessible through the main Service menu where they belong.Voltage Errors: The tool consistently throws “ghost codes” for Circuit 30 malfunctions and fails to communicate properly even when the battery is brand new.Terrible Support: This is the biggest dealbreaker. The technical support is not based in the USA. Because they are in a completely different time zone, you have to wait a day or more for every single response. This is extremely inconvenient when you are in the middle of a repair and need immediate answers.The TLDR is: Save your money and buy a tool with local support and software that actually works for Mercedes-Benz. This one is going back.
