Get what you pay for, money well spent.
Worked like a charm on 2014 Range Rover, simple to use! After returning from vacation message center displayed low battery warning, it started but the check engine light turned on. Fully charged battery, message did not go away as apparently need a scanner to clear faults in BMC “Battery Management System”. Since voltage dropped below threshold several fault codes triggered, this scanner compatibility recognized them all with great accuracy and was able to clear all codes. Afterwords, vehicle started no check engine light or low battery warning. Scanner is required to install a new battery as system must be updated accordingly…pays for itself in no time. A lesser device found codes, couldn’t clear!

It took a while to figure some of the reset items. Not very use friendly. Instructions should be a step by step procedure. Some of us are not tech savvy!lol

Works on my Jaguar XFR when others won’t
I have tried other brands but none of them were able to read all the codes as advertised. This one does and has actually fixed some of the issues I had by doing a full reset.

Dont buy, poor quality
Rarely do I ever write reviews, but If I could put a zero star I would.2017 Jaguar Xj 3.0 v6 supercharged stood no ground to this computer. As a seasoned automotive technician I’ve only heard of these cases but never believed it.I plugged it in and a bunch of lights and warnings instantly popped up, didn’t startle me. Seemed strange at first. But during the scan process the car seemed to not like it. Having some sort of spasms. I thought it was strange, but after completing the scan without clearing any faults I followed procedure to disconnect it and off my charger to go ahead and start it. But those faults and warnings that popped up in the beginning remained (engine temp sensor, transmission fault, electronic park brake, headlight beam, etc). And the car would not start.So, with other obd2 scanner it read that my modules including ECM, PCM, and several others were “not equipped” simply somewhere somehow they could not be communicated to.This was where I got really stressed and thank God after doing to tearing apart in the fuse boxes I come to find It faulted only a few relays.But for anyone not seasoned in electrical or is an amateur they might be left with their car stuck on my driveway till it gets diagnosed by professionals. Highly recommend avoiding this brand, its build quality and possibly software is faulty. For whatever reason tripping up relays is it’s thing, so if you like damaging your electronics, go for it! Returned it immediately and decided to buy a professional software for JLR and not waste time on this .

If you own a Porsche then you should buy it. It has all the features to modify the array of settings. I thought I need this for a ECS reset after battery swap in a 2011 Boxster 987.2 but it was unnecessary for me. Still keeping it for all the other cool features. Easy to navigate GUI and you can identify the vehicle via year/make/model or VIN search. I consider it a must-have for tech nerds who own Pcars. 10/10 would recommend again.
