   Exceptional home tool kit
   This is a great all-in-one kit and would make a high quality house warming gift or make a great compact set for someone living in an apartment or condo where maintaining full sets of tools isn’t practical. All the tools are surprisingly high quality for a compact kit. This is, quite simply, the nicest all-in-one tool kit I’ve seen. It is so much better than any of those standard WorkPro, Black & Decker, or basically any other vendor you’ve ever seen, that it is no contest. Yes, those other kits are all much cheaper — and it comes out in every aspect of their sets from the packaging to the quality and usability of every tool in it. Hoto built their brand on high quality design and they didn’t cut any corners with this set. The first thing you’ll notice is the weight! This set weighs easily twice as much as others and it is a direct representation of the quality of the tools they included. None of the tools are lightweight or have that ‘plasticky’ feel others tend to.The kit comes in a decent packaging that is quite giftable. Hoto’s design cues start with the case which is solid, good-looking, and holds everything quite snugly. Inside on one side you’ll find a simple driver, hammer, wrench, pliers, and tape measure. Hammers in compact kits tend to be so lightweight as to be mostly useless, but this one is quite solid and will have no trouble accomplishing household tasks like driving nails to hang a picture. The wrench and pliers are quite nice as well with good weight, solid machining and feel, and smooth mechanisms. The tape measure is Hoto’s standard tape measure they sell separately and happens to be one of my favorites — I already have 4 of them in drawers around the house.Under a cover on the other side is a multi-functional rechargeable drill. It is quite powerful and will have no trouble accomplishing tasks around the house. It has adjustable power and torque levels as well as a task light. It is packaged with a set of drills and bits that should cover most all household tasks. It is a bit bulkier than I like, but all-in-all, it is a much higher quality drill than I expected in this type kit. This is easily a 5-star kit as a house-warming gift and it stands up to the price. Recommended.

   Awesome all in one tool set for light to medium jobs
   Having a full tool kit all in one is such a cool idea especially when it is all the same style and looks really cool. I have used nearly every tool and all of them are fantastic. The hammer and measuring tape are both really well made. These two and the drill I think are the highlight of the set for me. The entire set is lightweight and fits in a compact case thats easy to carry around.This drill is a usb c chargeable drill and the power of this drill is fantastic. I was able to use it for several hours before charging it. Charging it is also really quick and easy thanks to the fast USB C charging. It was easily able to handle small jobs around the house and some larger projects as well.The best part of the set is the aesthetic. It is very stylish and comfortable and I could easily see it being used by people who don’t want big bulky tools and want sometime more stylish and cool. Especially since everything is copacetic and uniform.I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for nice unform set to use around the house for small to medium jobs. It would also make a truly excellent housewarming gift. 10/10 would 100% recommend.

In the manual mode it has 32 levels of torque. Whereas your major brand drill/drivers are controlled by a twist dial behind the chuck, this drill is digital and has increase & decrease buttons on the right and left rear of the drill back. A slide switch on top switches from drill to drive mode. The battery is built in and the kit contains a chargng cable. The charge seems decent for routine household use. It also has a very effective and bright LED light for guidance. It comes with eight drill bits (1 multipurpose, 4 wood, 3 metal) which is where it falls a bit short – it lacks smaller sizes that are most frequently used (the smallest wood bit is 5/32”). The hammer comes with a cushion that can be removed that fits securely when in place. The screwdriver comes with ten bits; most everything you need from the Phillips and torx perspective with one flat head. The tape measure is well incremented and the retracting mechanism works well. The multifunctional needle nose includes both crimping and snipping grooves. All the tools are very solidly made in the case is very heavy duty and appears to be durable. The divider in the case walls-in the drill so that when you open it, things don’t fall out and every tool is firmly secured. Handle design is very good as the opening extends the full width of the case and is deep enough to find when reaching for it. The two side latches are recessed so they should as not to catch anything and are easy to open. All in all, very well engineered like most HOTO products. Also like all HOTO products, it carries a premium price. At this price, it should include a broader array of drill bits and a second wrench; but when you consider drill quality this seems a fair price (if it proves durable). It has more of an urban than shop feel. Regardless, it makes a great household tool kit.UPDATE: I recently forgot my regular 16V drill/driver and needed to finish installing some fence panels. Pulled the drill from this kit, set the torque to 32 and drove several dozen 3″ screws through pressure treated 2x4s into 4×4 fence posts like butter. It performed surprisingly well.
