Game changer!
Ben says: turns out my dryer was secretly manufacturing sweaters out of dog hair.I grabbed this dryer vent cleaning kit hoping it would hook up to my Dyson without turning into an arts-and-crafts project. Happy to report: perfect fit, fired right up, and immediately started pulling out alarming, tumbleweed-sized clumps of lint. I’m pretty sure I recovered enough fur to rebuild at least half of Bernie.The hose had good reach, stayed flexible, and didn’t feel like it was going to shred itself in the vent. Suction stayed strong the whole time, and it was weirdly satisfying watching years of “eh, it’s probably fine” come blasting back out.If you’ve got pets, this thing pays for itself in peace of mind alone. Better airflow, faster drying, and less chance your laundry room becomes a campfire.Would absolutely recommend.

Why did I wait so long? This thing works!
I love this thing! Who knew? And I got it for less than $10 – worth every penny plus more.I have had this in my shopping list for months and months. It went on sale so I decided to order it, not expecting much. And really, when you open the package, it doesn’t look like much, just some rubber or plastic looking parts and a big long brush. I thought, meh, I’m underwhelmed.But boy does it do the job! I was impressed.The brush, I am not sure about as much – it does loosen things but dust becomes stuck to the bristles and is difficult to clean and it just now occurs to me that I could have vacuumed it! ha!But the vacuum part is awesome. I attached it to the tube of my old upright vacuum that has a lot of power behind it – easy to do. First you attach the two (or three) rubber/plastic parts together, and then push the bigger end onto the vacuum tube – give it a little force if you have too, it’ll be fine.I stuck it down the vent trap and up came all this fuzz. Now, I clean out my trap every single load of laundry no matter how small: every.single.time. And still this pulled up so much lint! Dang! I then took it outside and suctioned out the outside vent – lots came out of that too. Take a look inside your vacuum and see what has been hanging out in your dryer vent – lots of lint – and for me, lots of lint from many years of never vacuuming it out. Dang!Note that if the suction isn’t as powerful to check to be sure there isn’t some lint clogging the rubber/plastic tube-it’ll clear out easily. Also note that according to how powerful your vacuum is, that will determine of course the power of the suction, but once it is concentrated in that tube, it creates a big suction. I used a power cord vacuum as those are usually more powerful than the rechargeable ones.The amount of lint that came of of that was eye-opening. I had no idea.I found other uses for it – I vacuumed out my old baseboard heating vents that I usually have to clean with a rag and it was always a pain – this fit in there easily and went to town.I also stuck it under my washer, dryer, refrigerator, and stove and moved it all around to vacuum up whatever may be under there – dust bunnies or when I drop dog food or nuts or something and it rolls under the fridge. The flat part is flat enough and flexible enough to get under there whereas the vacuum attachment was not.This would vacuum tight areas/corners or baseboards or between furniture cushions. Maybe my wood blinds.I am so pleased with this I only wish I’d ordered it sooner!

Multiple uses
It arrived quickly and with everything shown in the picture. I have a Samsung dryer and always clean the filter every use and once a week use the crevice tool inside the filter area. I thought that this might get in the narrow dryer space better than the crevice tool, but it was no different. Didn’t get any lint. I was planning on returning it, then saw another reviewer use it for under the dryer. Yes! Works great for under furniture, washer, dryer, fridge, stove (got lots of crumbs there) etc. Definitely goes under these places better than the crevice attachment that starts narrow and widens. This is narrow and really gets under items. We also have baseboard water heating and it works great to fit in there for regular quick cleaning. Definitely a plus! It attached fine to my Shark vacuum. Oh but that high pitched squeal, I put the vacuum on the setting for less suction carpet(the air flow setting ). Problem solved. So I decided to keep it for it’s multipurpose use.

A powerful tool in my cleaning arsenal
I found the Holikme 2piece Dryer Vent Cleaner Kit to be effective and easy to use.Upon opening the box, I removed 3 pieces of tubing in various sizes and widths, an appliance brush and a set of instructions.The tubing went together smoothly and felt secure. I actually worried about the chance of it coming apart and sliding down into my dryer’s flexible exhaust pipe but once I saw it, I realized how silly that was.I have a Shark Navigator Lift-Away and found I needed to use my crevice tool to connect the vacuum to the tubing,Once connected, I turned my vacuum on and ran the cleaning tube down my lint trap vent. While it went in totally fine, I did notice the feeling of my dryer’s access narrowing. I didn’t force it any further but did slide it back and forth several times.I emptied my canister to show the amount of lint debris that was removed. It’s not a flabbergasted amount, yet to remove anything makes this tool effective and necessary for every household.I am diligent about cleaning my lint tray after every load plus it gets washed every few weeks. My husband cleans and maintains the outside vent. My washer is four years old and I do between 4-5 loads of laundry a week.The tool took me on a cleaning journey under the washer n dryer, the stove and the refrigerator. I even used it under my buffet as I cannot get under it well with a mop or by hand.Again, while it wasn’t buckets of dirt, there was a noticeable amount it picked up. I am more than happy to get rid of any /all dirt, dust debris or whatever else collects in the unseen spaces of my home and this kit is my new essential tool.A great housewarming gift that is priced well, I definitely recommend and gladly give 5 stars.

Nice quality little set, I could see it fitting a lot of different things, the way you can use a crevice device to attach is nice.the fitting that goes over the nozzle on the vaccum worked really well, flexed nice but still solid fit and feels like it will hold up nicely (just don’t haplessly abuse it)Used on my Shark AZ3002

Works great, my dryer has a small filter slot and this fits great. Attaches to our shark canister vacuum. The brush is very handy and flexible for going outside where it is vented out and pulling out any built up lint. Would recommend.

Sadly the nozzle only fits one slot on the space where our dryer filter fits. Pity, as it would do the job nicely

This gets into the nooks and crannies of the dryer lint catcher and does a great job. The only con I have it it squeals at the junction to the vacuum and sometimes falls off too easily. It could be my vacuum too, the shape of the hose and power on isn’t great, so it whines due to a poor seal.It is a good attachment, it really can get in there and get all the trapped hair and lint out.
