Not much to say about this other than it works exactly as described. If you’ve never used a tool like this before, getting the hang of getting the pieces aligned/loaded might take you a short bit, but really and truly only a short bit. Once you understand how to use it, aligning/loading new pieces is a breeze. It also had no problem punching through the material for the cover that goes over the springs for my kids’ trampoline. The cover is a quick-install version, and that is a huge time-saver and I will buy another one like that when this one wears out. It’s still going mostly solid after two years, with the only problem being the velcro started to give where you attach the two halves. So, I bought this and some ball bungee ties to cinch the pieces back together. Minutes of work, and it was back in business. The grommets are durable, and you don’t have to be Hercules to use the tool. Bottom line: It’s a good tool and fairly priced.

Really good grommet set
This is a very easy to use grommet and tool set. The functionality of this tool is amazing. It very easily allowed me to set grommets. Long and far away are the days when I had to hit gromits with a hammer – now I can just use a tool, like a modern human. The tool is extremely easy to use and comfortable. It feels durable and high quality. I like that it has a set screw that would allow me to change out the head for other sized grommets (sold separately on Amazon). The bag of grommets included in the set are also pretty good quality and I didn’t have any issues setting them. The set also includes a hole punch so you really only need to buy this set to be able to start adding grommets to whatever you want. This set is really good value for the money and I would recommend it.

Good, with practice.
This tool takes a bit of practice to use well, but professional-quality grommets are possible.Good:The press (crimper)? works well, and has magnets to help keep the grommet pieces in place. The resulting grommets look great – if you control your pressure.Bad:The grip is a bit too good – it’s easy to over-crimp and bend your grommets. Not a dealbreaker, but it takes some practice. Additionally, the punch seemed sharp but was difficult to use on my nylon straps and I had to resort to using a press to drive the punch through my fabric.

I love this tool… It takes a big of hand strength when installing many grommets, but it really works well…. My one thing that I can see as a minor issue, is that I would like it if the tool would open up a bit wider…. That’s it….

Het gereedschap zelf is degelijk. Goede kwaliteit. Om goed aan te knijpen moet je de handvatten echter helemaal tegen elkaar aan knijpen. Ook dat is prima. Maar ik wil graag met rvs werken en je kan nergens vinden van welk materiaal de meegeleverde ogen zijn. Om die reden nieuwe 10mm rvs ogen gekocht en deze passen niet. Deze toolkit is dus alleen maar voor hun eigen materiaal. Net een fractie van een millimeter groter. Heel vervelend.
