Product description
Damaged Screw Extractor Kit and Stripped Screw Extractor Set Easily and Quickly Remove All Common Sizes of Damaged, Broken or Stripped Screws

How to Use:
Step1: Make sure to use the drill side, make sure it is counterclockwise , not too fast and not too slow, but make sure you drill deep enough. When drilling, make sure to use some force (not too much force, but not too light force) against the screw. Step2: Please make sure to use the extractor (Spiral) side, make sure it is counterclockwise (that is, the direction in which the screw is screwed out), and the speed should be slow, so that the screw can be grasped. Don’t go too fast. If you can’t grab the screw, try the extractor (Spiral) side of the large extractor instead, no need for a new hole

Could be a Great Stocking Stuffer
I picked up this Damaged Screw Extractor Set as a gift for a friend who’s always working on projects, and honestly, it’s become one of those unexpectedly useful tools in my own workshop too. The set includes a good range of sizes, so whether I’m pulling out a tiny screw that’s stripped or a larger one that’s been rounded off, there’s a bit here that works.Right out of the box, the bits feel solid and well made. They’re not the flimsy sort you get in cheap knockoff kits. I’ve already used them on a couple of tough jobs — a stripped screw head on an old cabinet hinge and a rusted screw in a deck board — and both came out cleanly with minimal effort. What I like most is that the extractors grip without shredding the metal, so I don’t have to go chasing broken bits inside the wood or metal. One thing to call out is that you will need a decent drill and a bit of patience to use them effectively. They aren’t magic, but they’re way better than trying to wrestle a rounded screw with pliers. For anyone who does any DIY, woodworking, or mechanical work, this set is exactly the kind of tool you don’t realize you need until you absolutely do.In short, it was a great gift idea and I’d buy it again for myself. Solid performance, good range of sizes, and a real help when getting out damaged screws.

Perfect!
Got these to get a screw that was warped on my guitar (thank you imports for using cheap parts 🙄). This was perfect! Just drill a small hole and then flip it and reverse it. Brilliant, easy and got the job done. No damage to the guitar at all.

The “I Should Have Listened to My Father” Recovery Kit
I bought this set because I am a “stripper”—not the fun kind, but the kind who encounters a Phillips-head screw and thinks, “I bet I can turn this into a smooth, featureless metal crater if I just push harder.” This kit is essentially a “Do-Over” button for the mechanically overconfident.1. The Stages of GriefUsing this tool is a journey through the five stages of home improvement grief:Denial: “I don’t need an extractor. I’ll just use a rubber band and some prayer.”Anger: (This involves a lot of words that would make a sailor blush while the drill bit spins uselessly).Bargaining: “Please, just catch one thread. I’ll never use a cheap power drill again.”Depression: Sitting on the floor staring at a rounded-out bolt head that is now part of the house’s permanent structure.Acceptance: Opening this kit and admitting I am not the master of my own domain.2. The “Reverse” PsychologyThe most confusing part of this tool is that it works in reverse. You have to set your drill to “Counter-Clockwise,” which goes against every instinct I’ve developed since I was five years old. It feels like trying to write with your non-dominant hand while looking through a mirror. But when that “Burnishing” end starts digging a hole into the soul of the screw, you feel a surge of dark, industrial power.3. The “Death Grip” MomentThere is a specific, magical second where the “Extractor” side finally bites into the metal. It’s better than any cinematic plot twist. You feel a tug, the drill slows down, and suddenly, the screw that has been ruining your life for the last two hours begins to back out like a defeated villain in a Western. I’m not saying I cheered, but I’m not saying I didn’t do a victory lap around the kitchen island.4. The “Gift for Men” BrandingThe box markets this as a “Gift for Men,” which is a polite way of saying: “We know you’re going to mess up that IKEA shelf, and we want you to be able to fix it before your partner sees it.” It’s the ultimate “Secret-Keeping Tool.” It’s the hardware equivalent of an apology. The VerdictPros:It actually works on screws that have been rounded out until they look like polished chrome. The carrying case is small enough to hide in your pocket so nobody has to know you failed the first time.Makes you look like a “pro” who knows how to handle a “technical malfunction” (instead of a guy who just used the wrong bit).Cons:Requires a steady hand and a level of patience that I usually lack by the time I reach for it.You will realize that you have wasted years of your life trying to use pliers on things that never stood a chance.Does not come with the replacement screws you’ve inevitably destroyed.

Worked?
This worked on a vent that was in place since 1940 but I had to use a utility knife to cut all the pain off it first. It destroyed the bit which was the smallest and the one I am likely to use the most. So that’s a bit annoying.

Nice set
My husband loved this set. A set to remove damaged screws. A variety of them in a nice snap closed carrying and storage case. Worth the price for sure. They are well made and of high quality. My husband used them and they worked as they should.

If it’s a great gift for men, does this mean a woman can’t use it?
I have several stripped screws to remove from a vintage workbench. I bought this kit based on reviews and will say that it works well. Directions are on the case and it is simple to use. Despite the directions saying extraction should be at a slow speed, I had to use my impact driver to remove the screws. I did maintain as slow of a speed as I could.I would’ve given this 5 stars, but being a female who does all of her home remodeling, repairs and custom woodworking, I have grown tired of everyone assuming only men can do these things.

Great tool, especially with cinder block walls
Bought as a gift for my husband, we have cinder block walls which unfortunately mean a lot of damaged and stripped screws as we try to install things. This has been very helpful in removing those screws so we can continue with our projects. They aren’t too sharp, store easily due to their small size, and is a great space saving design.

For $10, not bad.
I picked up this screw extractor set on a whim, and I’m glad I did. For under $10, it’s a surprisingly handy addition to my toolbox. The kit includes six extractors made from HSS 4341 steel with a hardness rating of 63–65 HRC, which gives it solid durability. I’ve used it on a couple of stripped screws and rusty bolts, and it performed well—especially with a standard drill.👍 Pros:Works with the screws I needed help with.Easy to use.Compact and giftable packagingGreat value for the price👎 Cons:Doesn’t always grip deeply rusted screws on the first try, and needing to drill deeper into the screw than I imagined.Overall, it’s a practical tool that solves a frustrating problem. It’s not industrial-grade, but for DIY jobs and occasional use, it’s a smart buy. Bonus points for being a fun stocking stuffer or gift for the fix-it guy (or gal) in your life

My drill is 20$ and it still worked!!I had 2 screws:The first one had a stripped head and needed a bigger size to get out (always start small and go higher as needed!!!)The second one was headless and deep and needed a small size to get outThis extractor resolved both issues. 10/10 LOVE this extractor.

Kit was a lot smaller than I expected but given that they are drill bits, the size can be understood. Husband was very happy with item but hasn’t used them yet so can’t speak of the quality.

Good set, they do the job. Always go slow with the drilling and they will do the job as intended.

I was genuinely impressed by how effective this screw extractor set is. I had multiple stripped screws that nothing else could remove, and I was starting to think I was out of options. These bits made the process quick and effortless. The steps are clear and simple. Drill, flip the bit, and extract and it really works exactly as described. Solid quality, easy to use, and a total time-saver. Highly recommend!
