Nice case. Bigger than I need, but bigger is better than too small.
I purchased the Foxwell BT100 Pro that came without any case at all. A zip lock plastic bag was where I stored it with the little manual. This case was being offered along with the BT100 as a package deal, so I ordered it separately. It’s actually made for a larger Foxwell device and the BT100 fits with a lot of room left over. It would be nice if they offered a similar smaller case, but having a case bigger than needed is definitely better than having a case that is too small.

I’m not a “power user”, yet I am a well-experienced technician. just got this scanner as an upgrade to one I’ve had for a couple of years. I like the speed and ease of use, as well as the USB-C charging capabilitySome minor “tics” to get used to so far-1-Getting the device out of the case. It is stored very tightly in its case and takes a little effort to get it out.2-Although it does have VIN auto scan capability, it still requires additional manual selections to be made (at least in some GM vehicles) concerning RPO code review on the vehicle. I’ve recently contacted Foxwell concerning this issue and waiting for their response.I’m looking forward to more use from this device and it’s capabilities.

Calling all shade tree do it yourselfers!
This is a shade tree mechanics dream tool when it comes to any car with obd II port. If you have a com going to a part or system you can not only diagnose but you can test that systems functions. If the dealer can do it, so can you. Remove limiters, clear old codes that may have been missed and tweak the tweakables that car allows to be carried out. Save time, money and some other yahoo telling you lies. This is an upgrade for my 809 model by foxwell which is equally fantastic and priced the same. I keep it in whatever vehicle I drive to help anyone in need of info.

the scanner comes with a soft case, so you might not need this
I bought an NT510 scanner for my BMW, which was throwing codes for the wheel sensors. The scanner comes with a soft-shell case that’s adequate for my needs, so I returned this one. This case is a bit larger and has a harder shell, so it might be better for you if you have to pack your gear for travel or dump it in with a bunch of tools. For me, I didn’t need it.

Maybe Overkill but I like it!
Worked right out of the package. Instructions say you have to make an account and activate the serial number. When I did this it said it was already activated. Contacted customer service and got a fast response that the units are now activated at the factory and this step wasn’t needed. I did have trouble updating the software and they fixed that right away that day. After I got it up and running, it’s probably overkill for the average homeMechanic. I got this model because we buy allot of cars at my house and I have a drawer of vehicle manufacturer and in some cases year range specific diagnostic tools and I like foxwell tools the best.

Only half-Way works with my car.
I originally gave this two stars because it didn’t work with my car. Then I reduced it to one star when I concluded that the product description, which said “works with all cars” was wrong. With help from Seller, I learned how to get basic info from the unit, but nothing specific to my car, since it is not included in the unit’s library of car specific info. As a result I am increasing to 3 stars, but would not have paid for the extensive features this unit offers if I had know that they wouldn’t work with my car.
