This saved the day and made the job of installing the inserts quick and easy.

Perfect for using with its counterpart
This is obviously a unique item to be used with a specific system. It works very well for seating the threaded E-Z Lock screw in wood bushings. Well made, durable and will not break. Thank you.

Made installing inserts a breeze
The inserts needed an Allen wrench to install them. There were many reports of the inserts going in crooked when using a common L-shaped Allen wrench and recommended buying this tool and I did. And I am glad I did. Worked like a champ.

expensive, but great
The price of these tools is insane. They should cost a couple of bucks each, or E-Z LOK should toss one in with every bag.But they work great. You can chuck it in your drill press if you are worried about keeping the insert super straight, or in a cordless drill if you need to need to do it lying on your back under a desk. I even did a few in a manual handle just to see, and it worked great there too.The hex fits tight enough that you can pre-load the insert onto the tool without it falling off and the shoulder does a good job keeping everything straight and letting you know when to stop (less of a problem with flanged inserts).

At the insert end, it has a 6mm hex to fit the insert (E-Z Lok 9000) for 1/4-20 and M6
If you have a power screwdriver bit with 1/4 hex that has a 6 mm (H6) drive end you don’t really need this. It enables power driving the inserts (1/4-20 and M6). The good thing about it it has a collar that doesn’t really do much except serve to indicate you hsould stop driving when the collar hits the wood. Still it won’t prevent you from overdriving so you have to be careful. It does help line up the insert for perpendular entry into the wood. Still, the H6 power bit for your screwdriver probably does just as good a job. You can buy a set of 5 for $10 or you can buy an assortment of hex bits 20 sizes fractions and M for $12. Nothing super special about this driver. There are lots of alternatives that work.
