This Dreamon Kids Bug Catching Kit is absolutely a fantastic set of tools for catching bugs and learning about nature. My kid was excited the moment she opened the box and started to pull all of the tools out and I think this set has everything! This set comes with a variety of tools that is perfectly sized for smaller hands. The butterfly net, bug container, tweezers, compass, and magnifier all feel pretty well made and sturdy, so I don’t have any big concerns about something getting broken during our adventures exploring nature.The best part about this kit is that it’s educational while still feeling fun. If you catch something, you can look up different bugs in the included instruction manual to learn something about them. The wooden habitat has a neat little feature too. It has a magnifying lens built in to the sides of the container to get a better look at whatever you caught. I thought that was a really cool bonus. The bug vacuum is battery powered and actually works, without pulling so strong that parents would have to worry about little ones using it. The kit also comes with a carrying bag so it’s easy to carry everything with you on a trip to the park or a walk through nature. The whole kit really does seem to have everything a kid could need to catch bugs and study them. If your child is curious about insects, this is definitely the kit to consider. Highly recommended!

Amazing essential for any bug Catcher
I absolutely adore this thoughtfully made bug-catching kit. The 11 pieces include all the essentials a child needs to venture outside and explore nature. The little notebook was a great addition as it sparked even more curiosity by listing different bugs to keep an eye out for.The butterfly net expands, which not only makes it more useful but is also just really cool! The bug vacuum is very gentle and even helped mom and dad safely capture a spider we found on the ceiling without the risk of it landing on us and freaking me out.Unfortunately, after it fell on the floor once, it stopped working. That’s the only reason I’m deducting a star—I wish the quality had been a bit sturdier to handle a fall or two.That said, the magnifying scope built into the catching scissors, the specimen cups, the bug house, and the included magnifying glass are all very well made and actually magnify the bugs clearly—unlike some other brands.Overall, this is such a thoughtful and fun gift for any child who loves the outdoors and exploring nature.

I am really pleased with this set. You get a well constructed set of bug hunting equipment in a lovely muted natural color scheme. The bug cage is netted well so bugs can escape but keeps it breathable. It is constructed of wood with no rough unfinished edges. The bug vacuum is a good size for small hands, works well with a descent amount of suction. It takes 4 AA batteries which feels like alot, but my plan is to use rechargeable. There is also a sturdy net, some plastic scissor looking tool with clear orb spheres on the end that can grab something and the orbs come together to trap the bug. There is a plastic specimen viewing cup, tweezers, a working compass, an instruction guide with clear instructions and a drawstring bag to keep it all in. It all feels durable and well made. It comes in a giftable box. The price feels a little high, but not terrible. I would buy this set again.

Oh my word! What a thoughtfully made toy that encourages children to explore the world!Not only is everything made of durable and quality wood, but it is adorable to look at! The soft, natural and muted colors mean it is suitable for all children. The size of the items and set is perfect for a child from a variety of ages. Even as an adult, I found myself really wanting to play with this!The toys are exceptionally interesting in the way they are designed. They have thought of adding magnifiers to just about every aspect of it, allow for the child to explore up close without the worry of being ‘too close.’ The little bug vacuum is probably one of my favorite parts! It makes collecting a fun a safe experience.This is an incredible set and 1000% worth the purchase!
