Works great but is heavy compared to larger band names
First off this is well built for the price. I have a couple of dong cheng items and they are solid tools. This tool has a good hit for a small sds, more than my bosch bulldog extreme (but that also specs out less ft lbs). My bosch gave up after many many years of service and abuse and flooding but still got a few jobs in after flooding.This SDS is going to be great for vertical jobs i’ve also used it to remove stucco from walls and chipping lintel and block to open a doorway. Also great for short horizontal jobs. Downside to this is definitely the weight for horizontal chipping jobs where you’re using it for long periods. The larger compatible bosch for example will be several lbs lighter. This style form factor isn’t as good for tile removal as you’ll be bending down more and having to control it more with 2 hands though a long tile removal blade will help with that, and it will do a quicker job. Ultimately I like this, for the price it can’t be bear, but i’ll need another bulldog or similar for the form factor, and lighter hit and wall chipping jobs but that’s fine as that was too light of a hit for working lintels and other jobs.

great hammer drill fir the price
nice hammer drill for the price. comes with a little of extras. more quite than other hammer drills I have used. has enough power to get the job done. don’t know about longevity

Quick and Effective
So long story short: we came in and had to knock out a failed mortar bed for a shower that a previous vendor had incorrectly installed. Like other reviews, I can attest that this thing is a seriously heavy-duty tool. It was the other reviews, in fact, that gave me confidence to give it a try. It’s packaged extremely well, feels solid, and was totally affordable. We own a few rotary hammer type of tools, but this thing has outdone them all.

Surprisingly good Quality
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was a big surprise for me. This worked above and beyond what I expected. The only complaint is the one every one else mentioned. The grease cap is kinda impossible to get off. I made a tool with a piece of metal stock and 4 screws and it works like a charm. I only marked it down for the grease cap.

Great value for a hammer drill kit
So far I couldn’t be happier with this hammer drill. It drills into concrete like nothing. It has been making my basement project go much faster than planned and this unit was less money than I would have spent renting a hammer drill. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking. I have not tried the hammer function since I don’t need it, but I don’t expect it to not function. This kit was very complete, even though I still had to purchase the concrete bit that I needed separately. This drill is easy to use especially with the SDS chuck on it. It appears to be a nice heavy well built piece of equipment.
