I bought the Crayola Marker Airbrush Spray Art Kit hoping for a fun, creative outlet for my children, and it has definitely delivered on entertainment value. It’s a very cool concept that works surprisingly well, though with one major caveat for parents.The Pros: Fun for All Ages & Simple to UseHusband-Approved: This toy is a hit across the board! In fact, my husband has loved using it even more than the kids have. It’s genuinely fun for adults to experiment with the spray art effect.Easy Operation: The battery-powered sprayer is simple to use and easy for little hands to manage. The kids picked it up right away.Keeps ‘Em Busy: It kept my children entertained for a significant amount of time, which is a huge win in any parent’s book.Easy Cleanup: The best part for me is that it uses standard washable markers. Cleanup is a breeze on most surfaces and clothing.The Cons: The Great Indoors HazardIt Makes a Mess (Indoors): The main issue is that my kids want to use it inside like a regular marker. The spray mist travels further than anticipated. While the markers are washable, the mist can get everywhere if you aren’t careful about surrounding surfaces. It requires a dedicated, covered space indoors or, preferably, an outdoor setting.Final VerdictThis kit is fantastic and provides great value and entertainment. It’s a creative tool that offers a unique artistic experience. My advice to new buyers: treat this as an outdoor activity. If you set up shop on the patio or in the garage with plenty of newspaper down, you’ll love it. Indoors, it’s a recipe for a widespread (but washable) mess. Fun for the whole family, great product!
Great for the whole family! We bought this for our 7 year old but are all having fun with it (3 year old and parents included)! Batteries not included, but works great! Comes with a few basic colors, but any standard markers work with it. Super easy to use! Fantastic product.

Wow works great, easy to use and the markers are ultra washable so you just rinse the stencils under water to clean them. They work the best when used about 2 to 3 inches away from the paper. The closer you get to the paper the darker the color will be. If you want a lighter color you move the airbrush further away from the paper. Great value for the cost and kids can use it by themselves. Also I have ordered some bulk stencils online so we can make more with the airbrush, they all work you just need to be sure to not move the stencil while using the airbrush. I would for sure buy more if this ever stops working but I don’t see that being a problem. I would recommend buying extra markers in case these ones run out and have 4 AA batteries on hand because it does not come with batteries.

Just Buy It, great indoor activity
This toy is awesome! It comes with washable markers and a variety of stencils (5). My kids and nephews ages 4 to 8 played with it for hours. I plan to buy more stencils for it to give the kids variety. Its so easy to wipe up any excess that gets on countertops and can be used with other marker brands too. Im surprised at how simple and fun it is. Highly recommend for all kids.

Lots of fun, sparks imagination.
I don’t know why I’ve waited so long. This marker airbrush sprayer is fantastic. The kids, 5 and 4, both figured out how to use it within minutes. I should have bought two of them, but for now they will have to take turns. I covered their play table with brown paper, gave them sheets of white paper, showed them how to use the stencils, and off they went. I would say it was at least 45 min of joy before they no longer wanted to share. Set up is easy. The sprayer fits in their hands , and so far, mess free. The sprayer comes with 8 washable markers. I bought an addition box of other colors just to keep it interesting. I can see their work improving after a few days of using this new device. Painting sparks the imagination and I love watching it take form.

I wish there was more stencils included
I love the concept of this & I had a really fun time being creative with my son. Cleaning off the stencils is a breeze. The quality is great & I have no complaints. Colors are vibrant & it’s easy to switch from one color to the next. My only complaint is the lack of stencils. I wish there was more, we had fun but he hasn’t asked to play with it again. I feel like after the first use, that’s basically all the fun you can have with it. We’re both pretty creative but the thrill just seemed to fade away after I packed it back up. I wish they sold more stencils. I’ll keep an eye out for them. Having a couple of these for a birthday party would be a fun idea!

Super fun toy for my 7 year old. It works as described, easy to clean up with the washable markers, and is very easy for him to use on his own without my help. He has been having a blast using it to decorate his cardboard creations!

Great spray gun. Very easy to use and my 6 year old granddaughter loved it. However, it is advertised as not needing batteries and it does need batteries to work.
