Good tool, with one caveat
This is my first cordless angle grinder, purchased it because I have quite a few other V20 tools and batteries and it works well. Only complaint is it drains and overheats batteries very quickly, I’m only getting about 10 minutes of use per battery then needing to swap. Using standard-capacity, branded batteries that came with other V20 tools, may try investing in some larger batteries to see if that helps. Batteries show 1 bar charge after use, and have to rest for ~30 minutes before they can be recharged. I’m happy with the tool since I rarely run an angle grinder this hard, but something to keep in mind.

Tough like brands that cost double
I love how this doesn’t have the newer style safety trigger that has a spring-loaded tab that needs to be depressed. This is an easier trigger that makes life easier when grinding for short bursts. I have about a dozen hours on this machine total and it’s fantastic. Craftsman is a brand that does not get enough recognition. It’s an absolute value, and customer service has been great when needed.

If you need a cordless grinder for occasional use you can’t go wrong for the price. I have a bunch of craftsman tools already with a few batteries on hand so this was a good choice for me. I have sharpened lawnmower blades, done other metal grinding and cutting with it and so far I am really satisfied with the tool. Very easy to change grinding and cutting discs on it. Overall I am satisfied with the quality of craftsman tools.
