Very powerful tool and it took my 20V Dewalt battery. Really easy to use and well constructed. Not too big or too heavy, just right. Quality is exceptional and with 6 speeds really powerful.

I tested this tool cutting wood. As you pressed to cut into the wood the oscillation of the blade would decrease to just a minor vibration. The tool and motor seemed to be working, however the required movement needed to cut was not making it to the cutter blade.I purchased some quality blades (Klein, I’m sure there are others as well) and the tool works well. Was even able to cut some metal with a carbide blade.It looks like the blade I tried to use from the included blades has notches that are wider than the pins in the holding chuck. The tool was oscillating but just rattling back and forth within the slots of the blade.A good deal for a oscillating saw, if you also invest in some quality blades.

I wasn’t thrilled with the oscillations per second/minute at first but the more I used it, I never found a need for higher oscillations. It’s a great oscillator. The Controller on the side worked great. No-tool-quick-blade-change lever is absolutely amazing. I’ve put this thing through hell:sbells song. Couldn’t be happier. Accurate yes. Durable and nbelievably so yes.

This is a great little tool to have. It’s cordless which is why I went with this. I’ve used it to put a small patch of flooring in my laundry room. The battery lasts! Which is good because you don’t have to worry about it running out mid project.

The oscillating tool, styled to resemble a DeWalt, accepts the 20v batteries I use for my DeWalt tools, and seemed to operate well.However after using the mid-sized spade blade to cut a soft aluminum rivet, at the recommended high setting, it slowed drastically, even stopping.The off/on switch also failed, and I had to remove and then reinsert the battery to get it running again. It would not rise to more than half speed, and was unable to do anything more than cut thru lightweight gap-filling foam.But after less than 5 minutes later, it would turn off within a few seconds of turning on.It was useless.I read the reviews, but underestimated the probability of failure, seeing as there were so many positive reviews mixed in with those like the one In adding now.This is maybe -MAYBE! -maybe half-star product, because it did, kind of, work for about a half hour before it became an object lesson: unless a tool has 95+% 4 & 5 star reviews, “caveat emptor” indeed!Better yet, just don’t buy a highly likely POS.

Sturdy, great value
Sturdy feel, good set of 3 blades plus a scraper, nice sanding head with ample starter set of sandpaper. Very easy to use. Gets into tighter places. Makes simple work of difficult tasks. Planed a 100-year-old solid wood door so that it closes — without damaging it or taking it off its hinges. Test-cut soft and hardwood with good results. Terrific value.

I actually started using this immediately upon receipt.It takes the dewalt battery perfect fit, and is fairly quiet.As far as battery power?It works decently, and is not a power hig.

Tough tool, I used & I mean used this tool hard it’s 1st time out & have used it multiple times since & it takes it all & comes back for more! Easy on battery’s too
