spindle thread is m14 not 5/8-11
Innaccurate product description, spindle thread is M14 not 5/8-11. I know because I had to buy an adapter to make my 5/8-11 wire wheels fit. Also when starting up the drill every other time, makes a grinding noise and just flashes until I pull the trigger a couple times which does not sound good at all. bad functionality, it is light weight, and the case is nice but you cant put grinder away with guard on or disk or wheel attached or battery so it has to be fully dissembled every time you use it if you use the case. I will be returning it for a unit that actually has the correct measurements and not the chinese metrics.

Good option
Good product so far. Good for the small jobs we have used it for but we haven’t really tested it yet

Really, what should we expect at this price.
I would have to say, this isn’t the best grinder I’ve ever used. I’ve used some sketchier ones, but they were probably made back in the 1980’s. My first complaint is the guide, not only does it require a screw driver to install, it has to be removed to fit it back inside of its case. It also only goes on one way. If you like at my picture, there is a “key” that only allows the guide to fit the one way. The way it fits, if the disk does explode, it’s going to explode all over your hand that is pulling the trigger. Not my favorite. The tool is an ok weight, and actually has decent enough torque to cut through some simple things. Say, it zipped right through some vinyl flooring, and was able to grind a decent enough flat edge after cutting it. Would I try that on metal? Not with these stock disks I wouldn’t, also not without some really good gloves. Others mentioned that standard US disks do not fit, but I was actually able to fit several of my disks on it without having to purchase an adapter. For the price, it might be something to keep around for light duty things around the house. Though, personally I’d prefer a heavy duty angle grinder, and just use a multi-tool for small things around the house.

Good Grinder With A Bad Case
This angle grinder set is a great starter kit for anyone needing a grinder for a quick job or to keep around the house for various odd jobs. The two included batteries are standard for budget tools and are interchangeable with most small brands. It’s got a good heft to it, so I wouldn’t worry about it falling apart during the job. It comes with several discs to keep you working for a while. The main thing that irks me though is the case. While it’s nice to have one included, it’s designed to hold everything only when it’s disassembled. This is a real problem because the disc shiel has to be tightened into place with a screwdriver, and you’ll have to take it off just to get it back into the case. I eventually just tore out the walls of foam in the middle of the case so I could fit it back in without having to take it apart every time.
