STEM YES!!!!!!
Reviewing as a Software Engineer, into teaching STEMI recently got the Take Apart Racing Car for my child, and it’s quickly become one of their favorite toys. Right out of the box, the vibrant colors and cool racing car design caught their attention. The included electric screwdriver tool was an immediate hit—it adds an authentic, grown-up feel that makes them feel like a real mechanic working on a car. Seriously!!What really stands out is how this toy encourages both creativity and problem-solving. My child loves experimenting with the different parts, figuring out how to assemble and disassemble the car in various ways. It’s a fantastic introduction to basic engineering concepts, and it helps develop fine motor skills as they learn to use the screwdriver and align each piece correctly. Plus, the light and sound features give the finished product a fun, interactive element that keeps them engaged for longer play sessions. From a parent’s perspective, I appreciate the toy’s durability. The plastic components are sturdy enough to handle the occasional drop or rough play. The electric screwdriver also feels solid and safe in little hands, but I do recommend supervising younger kids to ensure they’re using it properly. Cleaning and storage are easy too—the pieces don’t take up much space, and the car can be reassembled in no time.Overall, the Take Apart Racing Car strikes a great balance between fun and education. It’s a toy that not only entertains kids but also challenges them to think critically and work with their hands. If you’re looking for an engaging, STEM-focused gift that can keep children of various ages occupied, this one definitely earns high marks in my book!

God gift for young child
We bought this for our grandson for Christmas. The quality is okay. I would not say it was the best. He really liked playing with the electric screwdriver. There was one piece missing and I was going to return it for a new one but my grandson did not want me to 🙂

Like the concept, but it wasn’t too easy to put together
The 4 year old we gave it to enjoyed the power tool, but I have to admit, it took 3 adults with a college education and a US Marine to figure out where the pieces went. Once it was put together correctly, the 4 year old enjoyed putting the tires on and off, but we wouldn’t let him take it any farther apart after that because it was so hard to put together. We also had a hard time figuring out how to make the engine noise turn on…. If the problem isn’t in the toy, then our education system and military need to step up!!!

Great for 8 year olds
My nephew loved this. He started building it right away. He just turned 8. It’s not difficult to build. It just took him long enough to be fun. I forgot to get batteries for the drill so he built it without it.
