The Chicago Pneumatic Cut-Off Air Tool works great for cutting through sheet metal, fiberglass, bolts, muffler clamps and hangars, as well as grinding down burrs and rough edges. The lock off throttle to prevent accidental start up and a rear exhaust directs air away from the work piece. This compact air tool is 7-1/4 inches long and weighs only 1-3/4 pounds.
Wheel diameter 2-7/8 Inch (73 mm)
Adjustable speed regulator
Lock-off lever to prevent accidental start-up
Rear exhaust
Air inlet NPTF 1/4-Inch

Powerful and good value for the money. Cuts quick.
After several cheapo harbor freight cutters, I finally was tired of the stalls and fighting. I picked this up and could not be happier. It cuts fast, is powerful and seems to be made of hefty high quality materials. This weighs much more than the cheapo version, but not heavy enough to be a burden. I am leaving the shield on it for now, but I have in the past removed it to allow better access, as you need googles when using anyway.

    Amazing Product
I’ve used cut-off tools for many years professionally and can say for the price this unit outperforms all other units by far. The less expensive units use less air pressure so if you need to get moving on a project quickly, you will be forced to spend more time and cost to run than this unit. It fits perfectly in the palm of the hand, size and weight are perfect and cuts quickly to complete the work efficiently. The more expensive unit of course cuts faster but again for the price this one does the job.

    Do yourself a favor.
I’ve owned several of these and have always bought the low cost ones from Harbor Freight or Northern. If you use it more than a few times, do yourself a favor and spring for the CP! Well worth the money and you can tell before you even run the tool. If your air is clean and dry and you oil it every time, it will last for years.

    CP always delivers
I bought this to replace my IR that was lacking in power. This is a great tool for the money. Its very strong (.4 HP) My only issue is its very bulky so its a little rough to get in tight spaced. Other then that it kills my IR!

    Good cut off tool.
Grinder that will last you a life time. Spins fast, has plenty of torque and it’s reasonably quite. I had a cutter from harbor freight and that one pierced my ears every time i used it. Chicago Pneumatic is the same RPMs but it’s so much more quite.

Incredible product performs with high quality
I bought this item last year and waited some time to give my review. It worked perfect, its good cuts great in small pieces that you dont want a big cut off machine that doesnt work properly to your work this was perfect

    4 stars it is
Why 4 you ask and not 5 i will tell you. Tool is a great value for a wizz wheel. the only gripe i have is that sometimes when you hit the trigger it will just spew out air instead or spinning the wheel and working. Have used this many times and for the most part it does it job hence the 4stars

Bought this cp cutter have a lot of cp , came from America paid to get delivery arrived fine opened box . Sticker on the cutter saying main in Taiwan . Just can not comprehend the stupidity off this . So beware not made in Chicago like you think your paying for an American made product .
