I’ve drilled a bazillion holes in every kind of material you can think of over more than 65 years of being an automotive technician, and used up my share of drill bits. I’ve learned to recognize good ones from bad ones and I’d have to say that these appear to be among the best quality around. Beautiful bits that cut like they’re supposed to. That’s why you pay good money for them. Even the circular container is a nice idea, but…… Champion and Amazon need to get together to figure out a better way to ship them. Champion puts a wimpy piece of plastic wrap around the seam of the container, and then Amazon tosses it into a big padded envelope to ship it. Boo on both of you. The wimpy plastic wrap obviously didn’t last long, and the envelope arrived full of loose drill bits and parts of the container scattered amongst the bits. I ALMOST sent the whole mess back to Amazon just the way I received it, but after seeing what great bits these are I spent an hour and a half putting things back together using a magnifying glass and electronic caliper (along with a good bit of ingenuity). I’m happy, but geez guys. Get it together, literally!

Great budget set of HSS drill bits
I wish I’d bought these long ago. I’ll leave all the others in my workbench for jobber stuff and keep these for real metal work. Very happy with the performance thus far. I would prefer a flat index though, as it’s easier to store vs leaving on a shelf or on top of the drill press.

Just received this set, 7 drill bits are missing altogether, a number of others had fallen inside the packaging which seems to be poorly made.Can’t say about the equality of the bits as it looks like the whole set will have to be returned.Poor first impression that’s for sure.
