Very realistic in appearance and sound effects. The "drill bit" is threaded and can be seen rotating which satisfies his unending curiosity. And since 17-month-old toddlers like to throw their toys, this one has been tossed around onto the hard floor quite a bit. Happy to report - no damage yet! The "drill" even came with batteries installed. Grandson and I highly recommend this toy!

Trust me there’s a lot of junk toys on Amazon, I’m a dude who loves using good quality tools and I wanted my kids play toys to reflect that. I know, quirky and dumb, but these ones are awesome. They’re really strong and look pretty real for a toy. We’ve had them for a year now and my son pulls them out to “work” on furniture around the house all the time. I always tell him to grab his tools whenever I pull mine out for a household project and he lights up every time. He’s 1 year old by the way.
