Battery Charger Electromechanical Timer Kit – 120 Min with Hold – Includes Knob, Mounting Hardware, Dial Labels – Threaded Bushing Mount, by Power Forged (697203) This timer kit contains components necessary to replace obsolete electromechanical timers in many older battery chargers. The included dial labels are particularly helpful in retrofit applications – for example, replacing a 90-minute timer. Note that these installations are not direct “bolt‑in” replacements. Some modification of the charger cabinet may be necessary (e.g.- drilling holes), as well as a basic electrical knowledge and skill level. Basic electrical tools are necessary. A multi‑meter may also be required. This switch typically mounts in one of two orientations: 1. Horizontal Mount – the mounting screws are aligned horizontally (at 3 and 9 o’clock) and the OFF position is at approximately 2 o’clock on the timer dial face. 2. Vertical Mount – the mounting screws are aligned vertically (at 12 and 6 o’clock) and the OFF position is at approximately 11 o’clock on the timer dial face. In either orientation, the timer has a “HOLD” position (constant ON) when rotated counterclockwise from OFF by approximately 15 degrees. Otherwise, when rotated clockwise to a set position, it will countdown back to the OFF position and power off the charger.
