    High class scanner
This auto scanner goes well beyond a basic check engine code reader and feels like a truly professional diagnostic tool. With full 4-system diagnostics covering Engine, Transmission, ABS, and SRS (airbag), it can detect over 90% of common vehicle faults that cheaper scanners often miss. That makes it a great option for DIY car owners like myself, especially if you want accurate answers without constant trips to expensive mechanics. What really sets this scanner apart are the built-in reset and maintenance functions. The Oil Reset, EPB Reset, and Battery Match features make routine home maintenance simple—clearing oil change reminders, resetting electronic parking brakes after pad replacements, and calibrating new batteries in just minutes. Add in 14 essential diagnostic features like live data graphs, freeze frame data, I/M readiness, oxygen sensor monitoring, and battery testing, and you’ve got everything needed for smog checks, used car inspections, and everyday troubleshooting.Compatibility is another strong point. It supports 1996+ gasoline vehicles and small trucks using all major OBDII protocols, with Auto VIN instantly identifying the vehicle for easy setup. Lifetime WiFi updates ensure the scanner stays current with new vehicles and an extensive DTC library. The ergonomic, non-slip handle is a thoughtful bonus, making it comfortable to hold during longer sessions. Overall, this scanner delivers excellent value, combining advanced features, ease of use, and long-term reliability in one well-designed tool.

Very glad i upgraded from my old one!
I think this scanner is going to become my go-to diagnostic tool for my Kia. It reads and clears codes across all the key systems (engine, transmission, SRS, ABS) with solid reliability. The Auto VIN detection saves time by identifying the vehicle right away, and the Wi-Fi lifetime updates keep it current without any hassle. I’ve used it on my main car, cycling smoothly through live data and giving clear code descriptions. Bonus features like oil reset (my car didnt support due to it being older), EPB reset, and battery matching extend its usefulness beyond a basic code reader. The interface is intuitive, the screen is easy to read, and overall it feels like a professional-grade tool at a very accessible price point — great value for anyone who wants to troubleshoot and maintain their own vehicles!

Does a decent job, software updating is slow
This scan tool is very compact and light. The carry case comes with everything you need to pull codes from most modern vehicles. The screen has plenty of resolution for auto diagnostics use. The connection works well and pulls codes that are needed. The only issue I had with this unit was updating the software. The unit disconnected a few times during the update. The updating of the software when you first use it can take extended period of time. Once the software is updated, it shouldn’t take as long. It’s a decent code scanner for most DIY’ers.

It’s okay, it works on one of my cars
I was expecting a little more after reading the description. It has a good size and is easy to use. But as many other reviews have stated, not all cars are in the database. only 1 of my three cars are included. It’s not touch screen, but that is okay for me. It’s intuative enough for the beginner or intermediate shadetree mechanic — if your vehicle is in the database. This is one scanner you could leave in the trunk where ever you go. It’s not outrageously, expensive, and have to worry about theft. When it works, it works, when it doesn’t it doesn’t. Having read many other reviews, it appears that the company is very customer friendly and continues to add vehicles to each update. Overtime my vehicles may be added to the database.

    Very convenient device
I love the fact that it doesn’t require any additional power cables and just needs the connection to the car. It also has a usb c port for connecting to a computer. It works with my Civic and pretty simple to use. I think this works great for a hobby/DIY user.

If you want an OBD2 scanner that can give you some information when the check engine light comes on, you really can’t go wrong with this unit.Operation is extremely simple. Connect the cable to the port on the scanner, plug the other end of the cable into your OBD2 port (usually under dash by left knee) of your vehicle, and let it automatically detect your vehicle. There may be a couple of questions you have to answer (see video – I do not currently have any codes so I am in the Diagnostic menu) but after that, you should see the info it gathers, and you can confirm this is correct by the VIN#. I have successfully pulled data from Hyundai, Kia, Chevrolet, Ford, and Honda models with no issues. This is not a fast unit (as you can see in the video, but for the casual use or even a home mechanic, that isn’t really an issue. The first thing I did was connect this to my internet by going to the settings menu (this is not a touch screen – something I have to keep reminding myself after trying to drive my finger through the screen – by the way, it has a pretty tough screen – you navigate using the direction pad on the upper right side). Once connected, I selected the Update menu item. The unit needed both an OS/Firmware update and an update to a number of vehicle. This took a LONG time – somewhere around 3-4 hours, and I have a fast WiFi connection. Despite the time it took, it update flawlessly (no errors). The scanner also remembers your network settings even after being disconnected which is convenient. You receive the scanner, a user manual, quick start guide, the OBD2 interface cable, a semi-hard shell case (good for storage or if you want to carry around in your car) and a USB C to USB C cable for setup at your desk/bench which is a nice touch. At less than $50, this is a great device. It may not be the fastest scanner you will ever use, but it has read/communicated with every vehicle I have plugged it into (small sample size compared to what this is capable of handling). Whether you want to use this as your only scanner, or through one in a vehicle to always have on hand no matter where you are, this will fill both roles well for the casual user, or even the slightly serious home mechanic.

Really impressed with this … does what the big obd reader do .. electric hand brakes service ,airbags lights it does the lot .. Great value for money no subscription needed. Very simple to use .. I never post reviews but this little thing is brilliant

This OBD2 reader is super simple to use and comes with a nice case for storage when you’re not using it. The readings seem accurate, and I was able to clear a coolant overtemp code after dealing with a coolant leak, which was great. It does feel a bit light and kind of hollow compared to an older, heavier reader my dad has from his workshop, but it still works well. There are a lot of features, some practical and some just fun. You can check vehicle info, live sensor data, and voltages, but you can also see things like 0–60 mph or 0–100 km/h times and estimated engine power. I haven’t tried all of those yet, but I’m excited to. The menus are easy to navigate, though some take a little while to load. That said, if you’re pulling out an OBD2 reader, you probably weren’t going anywhere anyways.

This is a very well-made scanner, which comes with everything you need to use it. There is a smart, tough, container with a zip and a handle, for carrying the device and storing it away when not in use. Inside the container the device is held in place by an elastic strap and there are a USB-C to USB-C, and a cable for attaching the device to the OBDII port in a car, as well as an instruction manual and quick start guide. There is also a card with instructions on how to access a usage guidelines video. The device is solid and designed to make it easy to hold in one hand It is very simple to connect the scanner to your car using the supplied lead and to get started.Once on navigating menu options appear on the very clear scanner screen. From reading the product description you can see that there is a huge amount that this scanner can do from checking engine codes and looking at Engine, Transmission, SRS (Airbag), and ABS to clearing codes. Navigating the interface is very straightforward using an arrow button to move through the options, an OK button to select an option and a back button to move back up a level. Whilst I think it is true that a beginner could use this scanner, I think that they would need to thoroughly read the instructions and be clear that they understand what the various options really do so they do not accidentally change something that they should not change. I have a Vauxhall Agila and was able to manually select this through the interface. Personally, I feel reasonably happy looking at the diagnostics but don’t really know enough about how the car operates to want to change anything. This is great for someone who is confident working on their own car or a car mechanic.

My dashboard seems to light up for one reason or another more often than I’d like. Instead of running to the garage every time, I picked this up to see what was going on myself first. It plugs in easily and was simple to figure out without needing to watch a pile of videos. It reads the codes and tells you what they mean right on the screen, which is helpful. I like being able to clear minor ones if I already know what they are or if I’ve got an appointment booked to deal with it. It gives me a better idea of what’s happening before I decide whether it’s urgent or not. For the price, it’s been worth having.
